After reading several reviews for multiple gallon-sized water bottles, I decided on this example. I am using this for milk storage in a small refrigerator, and it could easily be used for juice, water, or similar liquids. Given the limited space, the most efficient utilization dictates that liquid is best stored horizontally. Regular milk jugs aren't meant to be stored horizontally and will invariably leak. Therefore I've had to keep a small towel under the cap of the milk jug. This is inconvenient and just creates more laundry in the end. There are other storage options such as "water" dispensers but most of them have a tap or something that isn't as practical as this. When storing something other than water, it's certainly important to consider thorough cleaning. With this "jug" configuration, flexible brushes can be used or, even better in my opinion, cleaning "beads" such as those used to clean wine decanters, work wonderfully and allow us to easily address the top of the container radius (inside of curved top). It seems fairly common that the biggest complaint about this type of container is fragility. This is honestly to be expected with anything that is going to be made of any type of plastic, that holds this volume of water and is still not super bulky, otherwise. 1. The jug is 1 gallon Don't listen to the bozos saying it's not lol. I poured a gallon water I bought from the store in the jug and it fit perfectly with some room left to not overflow. You don't have to use the little measurement on the bottle just pour the water in the jug and not overflow it. It's not that hard. 2. If the you think the motivational quotes are gonna bother you don't buy it just to write a complaint about it. It makes you look silly. Just cover it with a sticker or something honestly. It's just words idk why you're whining about it. 3. I personally haven't experienced leakage yet so I guess make sure you tighten the lid properly. 4.
