Works well. My only issue is that the yarn slips beneath the spindle once the ball has gotten larger. Have to slow down the process when the ball reaches a certain size to make sure the yarn stays on the ball and doesn’t start slipping below the base.

I love this yarn cake maker. It was easy to attach to my table, watched a YouTube video on how to thread the yarn and cranked till it was complete. I am so happy. It took me less than 30 minutes to roll 2 jumbo skeins. So much better than hand rolling. The only negative would be that I had to make 3 average size cakes per jumbo skein. But for me, it is not that detrimental. Would definitely recommend!! ... show more
