The media could not be loaded. These are a really nice cable with some really great features. 1. The backs can be removed for easy access to the solder joint in case of a repair need. 2. Flat heads make butting pedals next to one another easy and saves space 3. Great build quality with the extra bit of sleeve around the coupling. Great value for a very nice patch cable. These MXR right-angle patch-cables are great! It’s a rather pleasant feeling to get what you pay for, it’s almost like you’ve gotten something free or something because it happens so rarely. Anyway, these cables were exactly what I was expecting in terms of slimming the clunkiness of my pedal layout—they have nearly flat heads (the stamp of the metal casing is oddly beautiful too) and having them back-to-back I can now make a more compact pedal-board. As for signal and sound quality/shielding there is a noticeable difference with these—there was always this helicoptering whistling interference with my previous patch cables and I could never fully escape it, always adjusting levels and moving things around until it was gone, but now it’s just really gone! These cables are absolutely worth the money (the 3-pk of 6” cables). I should mention the sturdiness: I think they strike a perfect balance between strength and flexibility, I really couldn’t ask for more. It’s nice when things work the way they’re supposed to(!) and the only surprises are good surprises… 5+ stars if I could. ... show more

They sound alright and look sturdy, but take too much space and won’t fit pedals with input / output next to each other (check the photo). I’ll find how to apply them but overall they are useless without a separate set of thinner cables as a backup. Would I buy these again? No.

    • Simply the best for me
It’s been awhile since I made a pedal board, but the last one I made had some old patch cables on it. These mxr patch cables look, perform, and are very discreet so I can fit more pedals on the board by budding them close together. Highly recommend these cables.

    • a little stiff, but very well made
these were designed to be used in a U shape, and work perfectly like that, but if you have mixed pedals that need a little twist in the cable, these are a little stiff.. they will work, but you'll probably want a more flexible cable.

    • The cables are good quality but I received a package of 3 all with defects in the same plug.

Cables arrived in bad condition. It looks that they are good quality and actually the package arrived well. I assume amazon shipped these cables with the defect. All 3 cables received have the same plug bent.
