I love MVP stuff. The wave specifically has been super inconsistent for me. Different colors, different plastic, different weights, just all over the place. Mine came in red (personally I do not care which color I get) but it flew exactly how I wanted it to out of the box. Perfect hyzer flips or huge turn over shots. Neutron plastic tends to not be so grippy for me but it works fine if you have a chalk bag. I’d definitely recommend getting this disc since it’s such a good price compared to other disc manufacturers. If you’re a newer player and you want something g high speed but still getting some turn, look into getting fission plastic. ... show more

I don't throw any other 11 speed discs. I get more consistency from 9 speed discs. about 300 feet. While this disc only adds around 20 feet distance to my throw, its path is a nice S line that works great for me in the woods and on narrow greens. I write this review because I just wrote a negative one about some headphones I hate and I am trying to focus on some positives and I absolutely love this disc. ... show more

As stated in the headline, I would recommend this disc for more experienced users. The speed on this disc is incredible, but if you throw it with even a minor curve its going off in the woods. I would recommend this disc for anyone who can keep it level.

Overall I am a fan of MVP discs and this particular line. This distance driver at an 11 distance gives me more distance than a driver with 14 distance (I know, its my arm speed). As I've aged I'm sure my arm speed has gone down, so this disc sits right in the money spot for me right now. I love the MVP Wave. It's my go-to disc. (period) The Wave is a straight flyer, and depending on the angle of release it will turn in the direction you want it to. Backhand I've gotten this disc to 350+ feet. I've lost few of these, due to really bad releases, all my fault, and I keep buying them.
