By far my favorite burp clothes. That being said yes they do shrink but after the first wash/dry they don't shrink anymore. I guess you could wash in cold and hang them to dry but in reality if you have a new baby in the house you don't have the time or energy for that. Just submitted my fourth order of these. Maybe 40 will be enough to keep us from constant laundry? These are a perfect example of me not knowing what I really need while pregnant and becoming wiser once I've had the baby. I got an order of these and an order of the cute print Comfy Cubs brand. While the Comfy Cubs are "higher quality" (thicker, cuter), they have their place lining dish bins for pump parts to dry on. We much prefer these thinner muslin cloths as actual burp cloths. I like the size, feel and thickness and the price point is ideal for getting the number you'll need to have them scattered around the house and keep you from running out constantly. I thought they’d be bigger but they are a nice shoulder size length. In a hurry we place this under the baby in lieu of the baby bib (it’s actually softer) and then use it as a burp cloth. Getting g the 10 pack is useful because we use one per day and I have enough for each time I have to wash his clothes and if we need another bc he threw up then they’re easy to grab. My daughter is about to be 3 months old & has reflux so she spits up quite a bit & out of all the burp rags we have bought these are our favorite! You get a good amount in a pack, they absorb the puke well, they are soft, easy to clean, they are good size, & they are good at getting the chunks of puke & drool that stick on stuff & my daughter very well without being rough from rubbing. LOVE these! I hadn't ever used muslin burp cloths before - I usually use that thick, soft cloth kind. These are SO much better than I expected. They're thin, bit not cant-absorb-anything thin. Flexible, so I can tuck it into a nursing bra and use it to catch any leackage while nursing. I've used them to clean up milk and spit up and they never become over filled and nothing sits on top of them. I had only ordered the white ones that I've been using for my now 4 week old (4 weeks of washing) - I just got the blue and green in the mail today and I do see that's about a half to 3/4 inch schrinkage. I bought these know another brand was thicker and bigger but decided to take a chance on these. Having both now I tend to reach for these more often than the thicker ones. Unless my baby is having a throw up and spit up day these are my go to. They are easy to pack than the thicker ones. I'm also surprised by the absorbency for the size...i found the key is to not use so much additives like fabric softener etc during wash. ... show more
