These are so amazingly soft. Wash when you first get them to make them clean and safe for baby, and to activate the softness and absorbency. But then they stay soft forever. I wish every fabric in my house and on my person was made of this stuff because its so amazing. As far as functioning as burp/all purpose sort of baby napkins they are quickly and efficiently absorbent and also dry quickly. Easy to wash in any laundry load since its just 100% cotton. They are soft and while they’re not going to protect your clothes from every spit up, the fact that there’s 10 of them in a package means I can pack some in baby’s diaper bags and trust that it’ll wipe up almost everything well enough for everyone to be happy. Do they shrink? Yes. Will they last forever? Probably not, but I’ve used them almost exclusively for the last few months and they’re holding up okay so far! These are my favorite burp cloths! Perfect width to cover whole shoulder unlike my other burp cloths that are thinner in width and are like towel material (only got them bc of their cute print) I recommend these over the other burp cloths. They are worth it and clean well than my other burp cloths.
