These just became softer compared to other brands where they became rougher I bought several packages of these burp cloths. I would suggest purchasing them before baby is born you will need them. my daughter is eight months and they have definitely lasted. I also noticed that they don’t stain. I received 2 packs of these burp cloths from 2 different people as a gift at my baby shower. I love them so much I ordered a 3rd pack myself to have extras in the car and diaper bag. My baby unfortunately had bad spit-ups and we were going through burp cloths one after another. Despite a lot of spit-ups, the fabric was very absorbent and did not leak through to our clothes. Fabric is also very soft and great for sensitive skin. My little one has fallen asleep on my shoulder many times after a feed and was not bothered by having his face on the cloth. Really liked the texture of this burp cloths, I liked that they are long, and absorbent! You can use them as a changing pad as well for when the baby is a newborn. They wash very well. They shrink a little but it's normal because of the muslin fabric. Highly recommend it!
