I've seen many bath and self care type of gift sets on here but a lot of times they are very cheap quality - cheaply made and very tacky looking. Musee's gift set is the EXACT OPPOSITE. This is one of the most beautiful, high quality bath and body gift set I've gotten on here. Everything looks high end and everything smells AMAZING. I originally wanted to give this to a friend as a birthday gift but after looking at all the items and falling in love with the scents I am keeping it for myself - there was just no way I am parting with these gorgeous self care items. This set is pricier than some of the other gift sets from other brands but like I said, the other ones are cheap for a reason: cheaply made using questionable quality ingredients and I wouldn't want to use those things on my own skin let alone gift it to friends and family. If you are looking for a beautiful, high quality bath and body gift set, THIS IS IT. The items look like you hand picked it from a high end boutique store. The entire packaging is just beautiful. Everything arrived in perfect condition, well protected with tons of shredded tissue paper. I also looked into this brand and love their cause of helping/employing women in recovery, chronic poverty, disabilities, etc. Read up on their story and know that your purchase is doing good for the people that need it the most. This Musee - Sleep Gift Set - Bath Balm Gift Set | Hand Made in The USA, Paraben-Free & Sulfate-Free does seem premium. Everything included is full-sized and packaged nicely, so the set could be broken up for multiple gifts as well as being given together. The main gift box is quite sturdy, with a magnetic lid, and could be reused as a storage box. My favorite piece is the candle. It looks elegant and has a subtle but lovely vanilla-amber fragrance. The wax burns well. My least favorite piece is the soap, which has a grass & peony scent that I hate. There's a package of bath soak and a bath bomb (called a bath "balm") in the Dreamweaver scent, which is basically lavender. There's also a smaller bath bomb in the Mama Said scent. This is the only piece that doesn't have its own box; it is simply twisted in a bit of tissue paper, which still looks nice. These are all nice bath products. It's a bit too bad that you can't get the candle by itself. This is a set of premium bath products, so I do think it earns the higher price tag. ... show more

When this came, the first thing I noticed was how heavy the box was. The gift box is extremely nice, and you could use it for something else later on. The other thing I noticed was how excessive the packaging is. There was so much raffia (packing paper) inside that it took forever to find all the stuff, and made a huge mess on my counter in the process. I love how nice all of these products are, though! The candle is in a really pretty box (I’m a sucker for boxes) and is beautiful when lit. It’s a soy candle, which means it has a longer and slower burn time. Unfortunately, even though the candle smells amazing when not lit, it barely smells up a small bedroom when burning. I had it going for about 8 hours last night and couldn’t smell anything. Very pretty glass jar though. The bath bombs are gorgeous. I’m not sure why one bath bomb comes in a separate container, and the other one is loose in the box. They also called them “bath balms.” 😅 I thought maybe it was lotion, but it’s a bath fizzy. They’re really large (probably 4” in diameter) and color the water beautifully. Smells nice too. The bath salts make the water really soft! They have a heavy floral fragrance though, so if you or the person you’re giving this to is sensitive to smells, it might be too strong. I’m not a bar soap kind of girl, but it’s pretty! Overall the presentation is beautiful, but excessive and expensive. I wish the candle smelled stronger. Would I spend $75 on this in the future? Probably not… I could easily put products like these in a box for less than $30. Hope this helps! ☺️ ... show more

I love this gift set. I tend to love gift sets in general, but all too often, many of them contain a lot of very low end and useless items. Not so with this gift set. Each of the items are of good quality, from the soap to the bath bombs. All contain a pleasant scent that is great for bath time. Scented enough to notice and enjoy, but not heavy and cloying. To my nose, they have a light floral scent with a hint of some sort of marine salt. Very clean and conducive for bathing. Guaranteed to make bath time more enjoyable. Comes packaged in a pretty box with a nice pink silky ribbon. Packed nicely and done in a way that you know you are getting into something good. This is one of the nicest bath sets that I've come across and flew past any expectations or hopes I had for it. We have a large soaking tub and I go through a lot of different bath products and few excite me as much as this one has. The birthday soak and the happy birthday bath balm ball smell so good. Even in the box before I used them it fragranced the area around it and smelled divine. There wasn't a dud in the mix, everything smells good and is higher quality. I got it for myself but it comes so impressively packaged that it would make an excellent and memorable gift for someone. After reading about their story, it's a company I want to get behind too. I loved everything about this set from the fancy white box tied with a ribbon and packed with fancy shredded paper to keep everything safe to the products inside. There's a small bar of soap, two bath bombs - one in a tube and one in tissue paper, soaking salts and a pretty candle. Everything smells so good and is gentle on my skin. It would make a thoughtful gift for any female on your list - but you might just decide to keep it and no one would blame you. It is expensive but to be honest I can see why. It's paraben-free & sulfate-free and hand made in the USA. I love that they hire women in recovery, people with disabilities and individuals needing a second chance.
