For the price, the quality of the materials is TOP NOTCH! This was the cheapest upright Murphy bed I could find and I can't imagine a higher quality item. The wood feels solid, the pilot holes line up perfectly, the bolts and screws are good, and the directions are clear and accurate. The only knock I have on it is that there were a few holes where they'd drilled pilot holes but didn't completely remove the wood so I had to fish that out a few times. Also, THIS IS NOT A ONE MAN JOB. I did it alone and REALLY wish I hadn't lol. Nor should you attempt this with a Walmart special drill. You need a proper one, and I suggest an impact wrench as well. Lastly, while it does come with wall brackets, they require the bed to be flush with the wall. And unless I wanted to remove my baseboards and quarter round I needed a new solution. I purchased the bed in the beginning of July, it arrived just over 2weeks. We put it together, following the instructions, step by step. By the 1st week of August, my friend was sleeping on it. It's now the end of August and the bed is broken. One adult slept on it. The part that holds the bed in place, where the bed moves up and down, slipped off. So we reconnected the bed again. We even reinforced the side because the frame is very Whimpy. However, we got the same results, broken. I suggest you look at another product. This is not worth the time or the money. After reading the reviews, I still took a chance. Trust me, Don't do it. I regret buying it. Invest your money in a bed with a better design and better quality.

Murphy bed went together easily. Frame is metal welded parts which makes bed sturdy. Easy to open/close. Aesthetics and quality is Great for the money!
