My 30-pound rescue dog isn't fond of the outdoors and is trained to use puppy pads. I got the diaper pail with Arm&Hammer deodorizer plus tried these bags. First I used the bags you tear from a feed and tie off. Tying off seemed to waste a random amount of each bag, so I tried the Snap, Seal & Toss. Those worked great, but seemed expensive, so I tried using a regular trash bag inside the diaper pail. There was a drastic difference in odor in the house. I realized these orange bags aren't ordinary plastic. I don't know what they're made from, but they're worth it. When they get too full to work inside the pail, I take it out and can usually still add several puppy pads before it's completely full. I'm a subscriber now. These bags really work and are worth it. Very happy with them.

Although these are pricier, I like these a lot more than the cartridges with the bag rolls inside. I was having trouble with my pail not twisting to seal when I closed the lid, and I discovered it was because the bag with the roll was being weighed down and was somehow keeping the sealing mechanism from spinning properly. Since switching to these, the pail closes better and it keeps the smell contained better!
