My 30-pound rescue dog isn't fond of the outdoors and is trained to use puppy pads. I got the diaper pail with Arm&Hammer deodorizer plus tried these bags. First I used the bags you tear from a feed and tie off. Tying off seemed to waste a random amount of each bag, so I tried the Snap, Seal & Toss. Those worked great, but seemed expensive, so I tried using a regular trash bag inside the diaper pail. There was a drastic difference in odor in the house. I realized these orange bags aren't ordinary plastic. I don't know what they're made from, but they're worth it. When they get too full to work inside the pail, I take it out and can usually still add several puppy pads before it's completely full. I'm a subscriber now. These bags really work and are worth it. Although these are pricier, I like these a lot more than the cartridges with the bag rolls inside. I was having trouble with my pail not twisting to seal when I closed the lid, and I discovered it was because the bag with the roll was being weighed down and was somehow keeping the sealing mechanism from spinning properly.
