I started ride sharing in July of this year and saw this noted in an article for things drivers might consider adding. I'm glad I got this charger; so many riders really appreciate having it readily available! It's an extremely useful item however it seems to have "melted" the casing of the micro-usb wire and no longer allows it to retract. I'm unable to find a way to contact the seller for a replacement.

Cable retractor was broke within 2 months! My passengers loved having a charging station, but due to the retractor design, it would reel the cables back in so fast that it would tabk then from passenger’s hands. Eventually it stopped retracting and the cables had to just dangle loosely, which I don’t like. My car is very neat and tidy, so I’m not a fan of loose cables laying about.
