    • Great Lightweight Trenchcoat, But Definitely Not a Winter Coat

I ordered this trenchcoat in black, size 3X, for my husband, and overall we’re happy with it. It fits him well through the body and the length is good. He did say it’s a little more snug than he expected through the arms and shoulders, so if you’re between sizes or have broader shoulders/arms, I would definitely pay attention to the measurements in the size chart. One thing I think is important to mention is that this is VERY lightweight. It is not lined at all, so I would not consider this a true winter coat or something you’d want for genuinely cold weather. It’s much more of a lightweight trench/windbreaker. That actually works really well for what we bought it for, though. The black looks good, and the overall cut gives it that classic trenchcoat look with the long length, lapels, buttons, belt, and shoulder details. It looks more substantial than it actually feels when you’re wearing it. I could especially see this being great for a costume, cosplay, theater, Halloween, or any situation where you want the look of a trenchcoat without having someone sweating to death underneath it. It would also work as an actual wardrobe piece on mild days when you want a little protection from wind or rain without wearing a heavy coat. For the price, I think it’s a good buy as long as you go into it knowing what you’re getting. If you’re expecting a heavy, lined winter trenchcoat, this probably isn’t it. If you want a lightweight trench with the classic look, though, I think it’s a solid option. ... show more

It features a Double-breasted silhouette, wide lapels, shoulder epaulets, adjustable waist tabs, buckle closure, button cuffs, and multiple interior & exterior pockets.     • Inaccurate sizing very thin will not keep you warm at all

I received this product from the Amazon Vine program in return for an honest review unfortunately I had to give this item A1 star. The sizing was not accurate. It actually came larger than expected. I did choose to size up because many times I find if I order the absolute correct size, sometimes things are smaller so I chose to order a large, but unfortunately the large is like an extra extra large so the sizing is an accurate. The material was extremely thin. It’s almost the material of either a button up men’s shirt or it even feels like a sheet material it is so thin there’s nothing warm about it if you’re going to wear it as a coat to keep worm this definitely won’t keep you warm because the material is so thin I anticipate with daily wear that this is very easy to be worn out easily or possibly even rip fade. It’s just all around not a very good product unfortunately if they worked on the sizing and used thicker material or possibly decide to add a liner inside of the coat then I think it would probably be a better option if somebody is going to be using this coat to keep warm they’re not going to be warm at all as this is thinner then a normal cotton shirt. I like the appearance of this coat, especially the double-breasted front and classic lapel. It works well over a dress shirt or lightweight sweater and offers enough wind resistance for cool, dry days. The adjustable cuffs are useful, and the coat is comfortable without feeling bulky. I would give it 4 stars because it looks good and works well as a transitional-weather coat, but the lightweight fabric is not intended for heavy rain or freezing temperatures. ... show more

This is a great lightweight double breasted trench coat. It is classic in design and longer than most coats. The material is soft and very thin. It is about as thick as an oxford type shirt. It will not keep you warm at all, but it will make you look really cool. It is made really well and should last a long time. It does come a bit wrinkled so you will have to take an iron to it or throw it in the dryer with a damp towel. The material is somewhat wind proof and water resistant. At this price, I think it is a great value for your money. I think this would work for a guy or a gal. Overall, I am very pleased with this jacket.
