This is a pretty good set for the price. You get a pretty decent muddler, cocktail spoon, and a mixing coaster. Pros: - Muddle is long & sturdy - cocktail spoon is a decent length, May not work for some highball glasses - added coaster is actually a pretty good coaster. It forbids extra grip and some drip protection Cons - the end of the middle is pretty aggressive. It will rip fruit rather than smash and muddle. The spikes are a bit of a concern. They are long, so it may prevent solid contact with the bottom of the glass. Also, I’m a bit concerned about longevity of the plastic spikes. I wanted an unfinished wood muddler for several reasons. I felt my metal muddler was going to break or chip a glass and sealed wood muddlers can flake or wear their finished over time. For this muddler to work you have to treat it like any other raw wood kitchen utensil. I used a food-safe wood oil treatment to wipe it down. Once soaked in I gave it a light sanding to clean up any loose fibers and rubbed it down again. It performs better than my heavy metal muddler, and I expect it to last a long time. ... show more

This is a great muddler for Mojito’s. I put my stuff in a cocktail shaker and mash away with this and it takes very little time to extract juices or oils out of whatever I am putting into my cocktail.
