I bought this to create a cheese spread for a gathering. The material absorbs and will be permanently stained by the oils/fat of the food placed on the board. So fair warning: buy this just for displaying non food items!

This was bought as a hostess gift and was perfect. The gold trim really set off the marble. It was the exact size I was looking for too. I love Mud Pie, they have everything I need, no matter what the occasion.
