I live in Michigan and the winters have been getting colder. Like down to -20 where we live. If it’s below a regular 20 degrees with full snow on the ground, and you are outside doing anything….your feet get super cold. Especially toes!!! I have tried every single brand out there. Even the most expensive and most popular brands. I’m 45 and I’ve been on the hunt for the warmest boots (and coat) for a very long time!!! Because I HATE TO BE COLD!!! Even if you’re in a cold car your toes get so cold here. These Mukluks are not pretty, But when I tell you they are the warmest boots I have ever had in my entire life search!!! They are!!! I even went raw dog, with no socks and my toes were still warm!!!! Dude. Game changer!!!!!!!! I can actually stand outside in the cold for longer periods now (I mean there has to be a fire too cuz I’m a wuss) but the fires have never helped keep my feet warm in the winter and even if there wasn’t a fire which most times there is not. These boots allow myself to be less dramatic in the cold snow!! FOR REAL!!! These were not free, no one asked me to do a review. Honestly. The price is worth the warm comfort on your toes!!! Cuz feet really don’t get cold, it’s the toes!!!! Like I said. Not fashionable at all what so ever. But who cares. You’ll be warm. And my snow pants still cover them anyway. You are welcome people!!! Hats, gloves, jackets were never the issue for me. It was what I had on my feet that bothered me in the cold. They’re great for rain as well. Easy to clean. Perfectly designed and created for warmth and comfort!!! Can’t believe there is both in one boot!!!! Usually have one for this or that.

I’ve owned Mucks before and found them comfortable and warm for Maine winters. I wore them everyday to walk and hike in the snow until they cracked and leaked at the ankles after 3 years. Since I got good life out of them I ordered another pair. Great value for money. I have been wearing the new pair for about a week and they are great so far. It was 20 degrees this morning and my feet were toasty warm and comfortable. Happy I replaced my old ones.

My husband bought me these boots for my trip to Alaska to visit my daughter and they were perfect, fit just right in my usual size, kept my feet very warm the whole time. I also wanted to wear them on the all day flights due to they would be the only shoes I wore while I was there and they were comfortable enough for my whole trip there and back. I also wear them on our property on rainy days perfect to walk the dog.

I thought these boots would last. When I received these boots there was already a minor issue on the heal. I wasn't worried as I was in need of them for this past extremely cold winter in MN. However it hasn't even been 6 months and the rummber on the bottom of the heal that already had a minor issue is now falling iff/ coming apart. Boy, tgey sure do not make anything like tgey used to. I did not even get through a season of winter, spent almost $80 for boots that do not last 1 winter season. Sad.

I did a lot of research before choosing these. I live where blizzards, ice storms and weeks of below zero temps are the norm. So perception of what feels cold for one person can differ from another. 30° may feel very cold to some. With our extreme winter weather conditions, the same temp can actually make this boot too warm for me. That's why I chose the Arctic Sport Exreme over the even warmer rated (-60 to 30+) MuckBoots Arctic Pro. These boots are high enough to keep my feet dry even in deep snow. The rubber part is surprisingly flexible even in very low temps. I anticipate them lasting longer than my other pair that has stiffer rubber. The neoprene uppers are really warm with the right amount of stretch; enough to put on easily, but not so loose as to let snow in. I have big calves but this boot pulls on nicely. I thought the neoprene part would get wet in sloppy weather, but am happily wrong. Also, the tops are angled slightly lower in the back so it's more comfortable sitting. The footbed is really cushiony with nice arch support and keeps my feet surprisingly sweatfree. It's a nice to take off a boot I've worn for hours and not have swamp foot. So far, I've worn them in mud, snow and ice and they have good grip over all three. Warmer than my Sorels that weigh a ton. Pros: WARM, comfortable, waterproof, cushy insoles, and grippy bottoms. Cons: no removable liner or upper tug handles. But these boots are perfect for me. Update: after wearing them on ice and snow-covered ice I find that they are great on snow over ice, but not so good on bare ice.

Everyone needs to have a pair of these boots for any kind of inclement weather or just because you're outdoors. Keeps your feet warm, dry, and are so comfortable. These are high quality boots made to take a beating. They are super comfortable. I wear thick socks with them so I went up a size and they fit perfectly. Great for any outdoor work or play. Easy to clean. Good traction. These are just all around great boots!
