Great monitor, the appearance and quality of the monitor is nice, looks very sharp at 1440p and 75hz is wonderful moving from 60hz. Color options are nice and it has HDR. Best buck for the money and it has built in sound headphones, but the sound quality isn't great at all. Make sure your GPU can handle 1440p at 75 though because my two gpus can no without getting a memory bug at 1750hmz at 75hz. So i plan to buy a newer gpu soon. ... show more

Got this a couple months ago specifically because I wanted something I could just leave on all day without stressing about burn in or babying it. For the price, it completely delivers on that. The blue light settings are genuinely impressive. Way more customizeable than I expected at this price point — I've dialed it in to where I can stare at it for hours without my eyes feeling like they want to fall out of my head. That alone was kind of a game changer for me. Now. The speakers. Every single thing I read about this model says it has speakers. The box says it has speakers. MSI says it has speakers. My PC says... nothing. Cannot for the life of me get them recognized. Tried everything short of a ritual sacrifice. So either I'm missing something obvious or the speakers are basically decorative at this point. If you're counting on them, maybe have a backup plan. I needed to buy an extra monitor quickly, and this fit the bill at a good price. Came with power and HDMI cords, but not a DVI cord even though the monitor has a DVI port. Not complaining, just noting it because I saw another review that said it came with "ALL" of the cords.

    • Nice monitor, but not compatible with my older Lenovo T420 Win 7 Laptop, so had to return.

It was a nice looking monitor, good price, seemed good quality, but unfortunately it did not work with my Win 7 Lenovo T420 laptop....it would crash the video card driver, and usually lockup the laptop and require a hard shutdown. Could not turn off the monitor without it crashing the laptop, or disconnect and reconnect without crashing it. Could not get it to run at 2560x1440 without a custom resolution in Win7, and then it flickered a lot, and would turn off sometimes. Basically it was not compatible with the older Lenovo T420 with Nvidia NVS 4200M video card, and even when running it at 1920x1080 resolution, it still had basically the same problems...so had to knock off 1 star because it should have been able to work at a lower resolution, but it still had issues. I tested it on a newer Dell 5580 laptop and a new Linux Mint 22 desktop, and it worked flawlessly and looked great, so some kind of hardware compatibility issue with this monitor and older hardware like the T420. So had to return because I bought it for my T420. ... show more

It is amazing the quality you can get for the price in monitors these days. I needed an economical monitor for work at an alternate location for general emails, web surfing, office work. This fits the bill perfectly. The 2560x1440 native resolution is easy on the eyes for this type of work. Can you game or photo edit with it? Yes, but a more expensive option would likely be better.
