  • Dont buy motherboards from Amazon
Many people have been buying defective and damaged motherboards from Amazon. First time build are buying these and shorting them out or damaging them in some way then returning them to Amazon who is reselling them as working products. I had to buy for until I got one that worked. Not to mention Amazon is holding over $600 of mine and it's been 3 weeks and they still won't refund my money ... show more

  • Bullsht
The media could not be loaded. I bought this thinking it had no problem and it should have been checked and verified that it did not have any problem, it turns out that the motherboard does not pass power to the cpu. XD

  • Solid Mobo
It's a good mobo, but a bit unintuitive with RAM slots. For whatever reason B1 and B2 slots are used first for pairing sticks instead of A1 and A2. The auto overclocking feature was nice, though Windows 10 kept throttling the CPU for some reason down to .8 despite there being no issues anywhere. ThrottleStop made short work of that though. I also had an issue with it defaulting to max speed for liquid cooler's fans until I turned on some setting to make it adjust by cpu temp. Went from harrier to mouse in terms of volume. WiFi setup was a cinch. Nice having it native to the mobo instead of needing a separate card or dongle. All in all it is a solid board, just some quirks with setup. ... show more

  • Good, but buy New, not worth the Headache.
Stars aren't based off the MSI Board, as its awesome, but this Renewed Board, which was not. Bought renewed, at first couldn't get it to power on, then after taking apart and putting g It back together, got it to power on, then no display, tried different video cards, no video, tried on board video, no display, took apart again and put back together, no luck, finally decided it was the board, as all my other parts are new and had worked with my older board. So after many hours, i caved in returned the renewed board and bought a new one of same type, no issues on the New board, it worked right away, so I say good luck if you go the renewed route, may work, may not. Good Luck. ... show more

  • HAS A PROBLEM WITH INTEL SOFTWARE GUARD EXTENSION (SGX)
I AM NOT ABLE TO PLAY BLU-RAY ULTRA ULTRA 4K DVD WITH PROPER DRIVE AND SOFTWARE, I GET A CYBERLINK ERROR CODE 21207 STATING THAT PRMR IS NOT AT 128MB , I HAVE CONTACTED MSI TECH FOR A BIOS PATCH, THIS A DESGIN PROBLEM THAT WAS OVERLOOLED, I HAVE 7TH AND 8TH GENERATION INTEL BOARDS FROM ASUS AND GIGABYTE THAT WORK FINE WITH 4K PLAYBACK, IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS FACT IN THE BEGINNING, I WOULD HAVE NOT BOUGHT MSI, BUT ASUS OR GIGABYTE, TO LATE NOW, THE PC IS TOGETHER AND WORKS JUST FINE EXCEPT FOR THIS, I AM HOPING THAT MSI WIL PROVIDE ME WITH THE FIX I NEED ... show more

  • Canes with bent pins
This product came 2 weeks earlier than my new cpu so the box just sat and tormented me while I patiently waited for my i9 to arrive. I got my i9 in the morning then went to work when I got home I opened my boxes and got to work. It only lasted seconds as the plastic protector had come off in the package and several pins where bent. I was going to try to end them back but I just wanted a new bird to make sure it was all good since I haven’t had an legs board since 2015 when I had a 6700k. I am currently waiting on a replacement and will update whenever I receive it. ... show more

  • Excellent upgrade
I built my dream PC, minus the unobtainable GPU and this was part of it. I've had no issues with it from installing it onwards. The BIOS are super straight forward and easy to understand. Great MB, and having WIFI built-in is great for setting up a PC in a location where you don't already have cords ran. These gave me some time to run cables and still use the PC. ... show more

  • Worked well, lots of I/O, and very good looking
This motherboard looks very nice, which especially for lower priced motherboards, is hard to find. Also, the i/o on it is incredible, and difficult to even find in more expensive boards. Very good board, and I intend on buying another one for my girlfriend who is building a pc Mine has stopped working for the most part, and upon taking it apart, I see it has a bent cpu pin. I'm not sure what made it stop working, it could be the gpu, as I hadn't had one until about 2 or 3 weeks before it stopped working. It did over heat twice playing r6, but that shouldn't have done this much damage. I don't know if it has anything to do with it being refurbished, but I'll will fine out ... show more
