I had just finally finished building my PC after 5+ months and now needed to pick my monitor. My old monitor was an old 1080p 180hz 27inch monitor. So I knew I wanted something that could push and fully display my new hardware. I had always wanted an OLED monitor. But not what type. After comparing this monitor with its competitor's, I really couldn't find a reason not to go with this one First off, the Stand is great. It's nice and stable. One of the big things I wanted. As I had gotten a electriconic standing desk. So I wanted to make sure the monitor could stay still well. And it does so by a lot. The overall look of the monitor from the packaging to the asthetics is nice and care is definitely put into it. The ease of use is also top tier. Using the controller or gaming app works wonders. I was worried jumping into Oled from hearing about Burn in and pixel cleaning. I have to say the fear and annoyance is definitely over exaggerated. My monitor goes into cleaning mode about 16 hours of use? That's not bad. Especially if you are a human being and need sleep. Jumping into 3440x1440p QD-OLED provides a whole new level of amazement. The 6 biggest games I've been playing since I got the new monitor are Cyberpunk, Nuclear Option, World of Warships, Heavy modded Skyrim and Fallout 3, and Metro Exodus All of these display well and amazing. Wasn't sure about the hype for OLED. But was not disappointed. While I mostly do play PC now, I still play some older console games. Like for example, I just recently played Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360. The ease of setting this up for console play is nice. Monitor is able to help bump up the looks of such an old console. There's no need to do anything to get this to work either, just plug and play I would heavily recommend this monitor for anyone looking into Ultrawide. Has not been a disappointment at all!

I’ve used plenty of monitors, but the MSI MPG 491CQP QD-OLED is on another level. If you are looking for that "wow" factor, this is it. The Good: Colors & Contrast: The QD-OLED panel is stunning. Blacks are perfectly deep, and the Quantum Dot tech makes colors pop in a way standard OLEDs can't match. Insane Immersion: The 32:9 super-ultrawide aspect ratio is basically two 1440p monitors side-by-side without the annoying bezels. Racing games and flight sims feel incredible. Performance: The 0.03ms response time makes motion feel liquid smooth. I noticed an immediate difference in how snappy my inputs felt. Quiet & Cool: Unlike some other 49-inch monitors, this one is fanless (it uses a graphene heatsink). It’s silent, which is a huge plus for late-night gaming. Built-in KVM: This is a life-saver. I can switch between my gaming rig and work laptop while using the same keyboard and mouse. Things to Note: Desk Real Estate: This thing is massive. Make sure your desk is deep enough or get a heavy-duty monitor arm. OLED Care: You’ll get occasional prompts for a pixel refresh to prevent burn-in. It’s a minor 5-minute trade-off for having the best picture quality on the market. Final Verdict: This is easily the best value 49-inch OLED right now. I’m extremely happy with the MSI MPG 341CQPX QD‑OLED. For the price, the quality is honestly incredible. The picture is stunning — deep blacks, super vibrant colors, and the 240Hz + 0.03ms response time makes everything feel insanely smooth. Gaming on this monitor is a completely different experience. Setup was easy, and I really appreciate the adjustable stand. The connectivity options (HDMI, DP, USB‑C) make it simple to hook up everything without adapters. One thing that really surprised me was how simple the product registration was. Took just a couple of minutes, and it instantly enrolled me in the MSI Rewards Program, which is a nice bonus for buying their products. I've tried over a dozen monitors in the past few years because I'm extremely picky, and want a monitor that can be a competitive monitor for PvP games, a beautiful display for visually appealing games, a strong work monitor for business, and an aesthetically neutrual or appealing monitor that has a KVM (letting me switch between a work laptop and a gaming PC with one set of peripehrals) and enough power delivery to charge a laptop. This monitor has amazing motion quality because of it's OLED display, and at 240hz, the refresh rate is high enough for all but the most professional esports players (many of whom still use 240hz to this day). The pixel desnity is high enough for visually appealing games to look beautiful, without being so dense that your GPU will light on fire. The 34" size makes games look amazing and it allows me to multi-task and work on large spreadsheets at work without needing multiple monitors. The KVM is solid and reliable, but I would like to see at least four USB ports, since I need a mouse, keyboard, webcam, and headset on both computers (I fixed this with a high-quality hub that adds minimal latency). MSI should make more monitors and peripherals with this design philosophy in mind. Keep a mature aesthetic, hybrid work-play usecases in-mind, and keep it all filled with cutting-edge tech like OLED.

Very nice. Make sure to enable HDR in your windows settings you’ll be able to calibrate it and crank up that brightness if needed. I like that the OLED “cleaning” is done when the monitor is off, like when you shut down your computer. As long as you don’t use the power button to shut off the monitor it will start to blink orange letting you know it’s going through the OLED care. The best color setting is the “pro” setting in the monitors menu, the menu you access with the buttons on the monitor.

The great price is really, what set it apart from everything else on the market Also, it appears that MSI is the only one outputting these monitors in a flat and curved configuration The I/O available on this monitor has been great. It literally has everything you could possibly need for Windows gaming to Mac convenience with the display ports and HDMI options, and the USB-C port that has power delivery up to 98 W while still being able to output display port 1.4 with DSC which gives my Mac a 4K240 Hz signal while charging it, and of course, the HDMI and display port maximizing what my gaming PC can do
