Got this for a good deal. It is not OLED but it will still do 175 Hertz 12 Bit Color Depth full spectrum. 38 Inch Ultrawide for this price???? get them while you can. I have no complaints with the monitor besides a minor one. I wish the stand allowed it to lift a little higher that is about it. Not a single dead pixel. Fast as $$$$. If my wife had a computer that could handle it I would buy another. Good pairing for a 3090 , 4080 , 4090 , 4070 ti super , 7900 xtx....

Monitor looked great but it would flicker to a black screen every 5-10 mins. Tried it on my computer and a laptop and replaced my DP cable with a 2.1 cable. Support was unhelpful so I was forced to return it.

MSI MEG381CQR Plus, 38" Gaming Monitor, 3840 x 1600 (UWQHD+), Rapid IPS, 175Hz, Gsync Ultimate, HDR 600, HDMI, Displayport, Tilt, Swivel, Height Adjustable This is an awesome monitor right out of the box. huge picture looks great and using the DisplayPort no problem obtaining and keeping 175 HZ on maximum resolution which by the way never changes as long as your game or desktop is set to that. Pro's: HDR looks amazing, easy setup, very high frame rate with with my Nvidia 3090 ti video card thus extremely smooth video in games. Con's: Both monitor mount standarms that I used (the one I owned was barely strong enough to support it so I purchased a new one.) needed to be modified to fit in the VESA slot provided on this monitor, I had to grind down a quarter inch off of the arm bracket all the way around so it would fit in the slot provided by MSI was very disappointing but workable in the end. The frame itself looks minimal but the picture is missing the Edge by 3/8 of an inch all the way around makes it a little lackluster for frameless(?) and not filling the entire screen as I had hoped/ had on previous monitors. I personally don't care for gimmicky the little knob on the left hand side at the bottom and it's little screen is nothing but distracting for me as all of these things are handled through the on-screen display and once set up rarely need adjusting if ever. Personally I covered that little screen with black tape as it's just too distracting also the bottom of the monitor is very large compared to other monitors (1.5 inches tall) is a little disappointing but I guess they needed that for their gimmicky little knob. I don't care for all the back lighting LED color stuff that kids probably enjoy, personally I turn those off and wish they offered a comparable monitor with less bells and whistles at a more reasonable price. Lastly Microsoft Windows cannot find the HDR certification but that does not seem to stop it from working. Interesting that NVIDIA screenshots of the desktop settings with HDR on are completely washed out but look perfect in real life so I turned the HDR off for most of the screenshots. Other than that this monitor is huge, very bright & an awesome display. I've had this monitor for 5 months now and I think that you will not be disappointed at the picture and gaming quality of this display.

The media could not be loaded. It is a tremendously incredible monitor, it has extremely beautiful image quality, the pixel density per inch is amazing (PPI), it has ambient RGB on the front and rear for games which gives you more immersiveness, it brings HMI technology that gives you an additional physical screen which offers multiple options and information in real time such as: temperatures, frequencies, resolution, refresh rate, fan speed and even the weather. Something that pleasantly surprised me is that this monitor has a 12bit color depth !! an image response of 1ms and 175hz. G-sync ultimate !!! giving you a smooth image even in worst case fps drops, stunning HDR, excellent contrast and incredible color accuracy, I am truly in love with this monitor and if you can buy it I would recommend it 100%. An additional accessory that the monitor brings is the webcam camera cradle that I show in the video which is greatly appreciated, but even the monitor itself has its webcam in the lower frame... So yes... you have many options with this monitor, 3 USB type A inputs, 2 on the left side and one behind the monitor, two HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input. Something no less important is that you need to operate this monitor through DisplayPort to take full advantage of it. Cheers

I got this monitor on sale and use it for work and light gaming. So far this is the best MSI monitor i’ve purchased (i have 3 MSI monitors). Keep it in your cart and wait for the price to drop.

Got this monitor yesterday. Looking great but is completely dead and for sure wasn’t new. Fingertips at the side of monitor . Missing protections film from screen and small scratches at bottom trims. I can accept all that if I can get picture. But no picture at all just for a few second very dimly sign MSI and despaired. Black screen . Trying another desktop, nothing . Hooked laptop. Nothing. Ok. I will try a few times more if I can’t resolve problem then good bye MSI forever. Paying $1,700 for dead monitor is not fair and blames for MSI
