I really like the sharpness quality for this monitor especially since many of the colors still retain their richness with some color balancing. This monitor is fantastic as a main monitor especially since it's definitely something else being able to game at 144Hz in 4K. The one small issue I ran to was the Display Port cable wasn't the best so I had to buy a better one off Amazon, but I have not had any issues whatsoever after swapping the cable it comes with this the Amazon one. Packaging seal tape was undone on arrival, but all parts were still inside the box. Monitor had no visible defects, no dead pixels, and works perfectly. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

I read the other reviews regarding the HDMI flickering issues so I decided to try and connect this to my MSI Gen2 USB 3.0 docking port (which in turn is connected to a MSI GE66 Raider laptop) with the provided Display Port cable. The monitor turned right on and I was able to turn the resolution all the way up to 4K @ 60Hz with no problem (60Hz is the max the docking station can output unfortunately). However as the attached picture shows it does seem to have an odd "smearing" or "pixilation" problem with any icons, windows, taskbar or programs that are open on the desktop. The desktop background itself looks beautiful. I also had to take this picture with my phone because a screen capture looked perfect. I have submitted a ticket to MSI and have yet to hear back. In the mean time I decided to give the HDMI2 port a shot. First try gave me the extreme flickering issue. I unplugged it and plugged it back into HDMI1 and this time it came up perfectly with no issues...resolution, refresh rate and everything works perfectly as advertised. Sadly this seems to be par for the course with all of my MSI Hardware. Things work...for the most part...but they require a lot of futzing around to get them work correctly. Over all, now that it's working I'm pretty happy with it. Can't complain about the picture quality at all...it's beautiful. the RGB lights on the back provide a cool gamer feel, and for my work the 4K resolution is extremely helpful. The only reason I docked this down to 3 out of 5 stars is due to the 4 hours late at night it took me to get it working properly. ... show more

lo que mas me agrada de éste monitor es que es mio jajajajajajaja, ay que horror perdonen amigos, pero es que es lo mejor de monitores que he tenido en mi agradable vida, ya voy para 66 primaveras y todavía puedo con mas tecnología de ultima generación siiiiiiii.

Le doy dos estrellas una por el envío y otra por el empaque pero me lo pensaría si fuera ustedes para comprar el monitor ya que he leído problemas y fallas por los puntos de pixeles muertos confirmo que me sucedió me llegaron 3 monitores que pedí aunque uno solo se veía la mitad de la pantalla los otros dos iban muy bien pero un día le salió un punto azul a cada uno por pixeles muertos tan solo con 2 semanas usándolo me molesta también el tiempo que se han tomado en hacerme el reembolso tardan 2 meses en hacer el reembolso espero mi reseña ayuden algunos que estén interesado en el monitor para que no pierdan su tiempo ya que les puede suceder luego que ya el monitor no tenga garantías esta versión de monitor suele dar problema de pixeles muertos no solo me ha sucedido a mí y de 3 que compre los 3 dieron ese mismo problema ... show more

After listening to all of the experts tell me which 4K monitor was best they all suggested to buy the best priced on so I bought this 4K monitor and I love it...     • dead line of pixels in under a week
would have been a perfect monitor if two lines of pixels didn't die in under a week. I didn't even look at the thing the wrong way and it broke nonetheless. was able to look over the 3 dead pixels that came out of the box.

it hasn't been a week and already several dead and blocked pixels have appeared, from what I saw in the reviews and general experience this monitor has a high probability of generating dead and blocked pixels I will wait a couple of weeks and if it continues like this, I'm afraid I will have to return it. ... show more
