I got this on Prime Day and am pleased. I chose this particularly for the VA panel for gaming. I love the contrast ratios and prefer them. Keep in mind that when watching videos/shows/movies, the blacks are not good. Grainy/blocky/chunky. No monitor does everything perfect. I knew this going into it but figured I'd mention it. The monitor itself feels a little cheap, a lot of plastic, but I would expect that from a $140 monitor. I bought a HUANUO monitor arm to mount it onto which worked out well because the monitor came with little extension pegs to be able to use a monitor arm. One thing I really like about this over my Samsung G5 is that the front panel on this MSI is completely sealed around the edges. The Samsung is NOT sealed all the way around and the top of the panel is peeling off, almost the entire way across the top. Apparently it's an extremely common problem with them that doesn't seem to be able to be repaired 100% even after being returned and fixed under warranty.

I purchased this to use as a second screen for work. It was very easy to set up, the colors, options, brightness and quality have been great. I can open open 4 windows on it with no visibility issues. Slight curve which helps with reading across a full screen.

I recently purchased the MSI G273CQ, a 27" for myself for gaming and after a few weeks of testing here's why I'm giving it a solid 5 stars. Immersive Visuals (★★★★★): The QHD (1440p) resolution on this 27" monitor is a game-changer. The visuals are crisp, colors pop, and details come to life. Across all games paired with an RTX4070 you will not be dissapointed in how this makes your games look! Smooth as Silk (★★★★★): A 170Hz refresh rate? Yes, please! Buttery-smooth gameplay with no tearing is a delight. Highly competitive gamers this is the monitor for you! Sizable Real Estate (★★★★★): The 27" screen provides ample real estate for gaming and productivity. Personally this is the sweet spot between size and practicality, it's large enough to draw you into the action without overwhelming your desk space. Multitasking feels natural, and gaming is nothing short of spectacular. User-Friendly Design (★★★★☆): Navigating the menu and settings is a slightly awkward but nothing you wont be able to figure out, the settings dont come with an explanation so be ready to google some terminology if youre not a visual wizard - I know im not... Hands down the best monitor I’ve ever had. Couldn’t spring the money to buy an oled, so I went with this VA monitor for the deepest blacks possible. And it is honestly a steal. The display is extremely smooth, the screen is very big, response time is great, and it has a nice glossy finish. Only critique is that the on board menu is very confusing at first (but aren’t they all)
