I purchased this product for a trip through Mexico and I have to say that it kept her phone charged the times that we used used it. Work as described. The problem with it was, as it was in my backpack charging a phone I fell in the water and the backpack got wet and some water got into the backpack which also got on the charger. Later that night when we got back to our room the light came on and would not shut off, so I put it in the bathroom so it wouldn't keep us awake. thew next morning it was off so I put it on the counter and the light came back on so i put it back in the bathroom. When we flew home the light would come on and then go off, at home I put it in my office and the light has been off ever since. I don't know if it is charged but now I can not turn the light on. ... show more

I CONSIDER THESE DANGEROUS! I had mine, not on my porch charging, when I went back out to get it, it had busted open. If you can look at the pictures, you will see what I’m talking about. I don’t think I’ve done any thing wrong by putting them on the porch to charge. I thought you wanted them in the sunlight to charge them. It was a covered porch, but it still got sun. At first it worked extremely well. It was really convenient. I was so happy that I got them. In fact, I got four of them. I have several lights in my house that are rechargeable lights. I like to use them quite often. I was afraid that the power would go out and I would need something like this to recharge those lights. That’s why I got four of them. Only one of them busted open. But one is enough for me. I threw all four of them away.It’s too late for me to return them to get my money back. So now I’m stuck with something that I cannot use, and I’m afraid to use. ... show more
