To be perfectly honest, my husband and I both tend to overheat at night, so we kept hearing that we should try silk sheets. I’ll admit—I didn’t realize there’s a difference between silk and satin when I bought this set! That said, it’s a beautiful set, and the fitted sheet actually fits our bed perfectly, which has been hard to find. The only downside? As my husband put it, “it was like sleeping on a dang slip and slide” at first! Super slippery—but after a few months of use, the fabric softened and isn’t quite as slick. It just took some getting used to. Definitely cooler than regular sheets, so if you’re a hot sleeper, it’s worth considering!

got this set just for the comforter as my old queen-sized bed in a bag from the local store had finally gotten too many holes after over a decade of use. my partner and i have a king-sized bed but don't share covers so a twinxl seemed like a logical option at this point. i'll say this set feels nice as one would expect considering its satin. sadly i only to through sleeping half the day before i had to turn the windows fan in on both sides in(40F outside) cause the bed got to hot with this one on . idk if i would say its the comforter's fault or me being used to one thats rather threadbare or my partner overheating while he sleeps..either way its too hot and not great for it . on top of that it came in a tiny vacuum sealed box and it was wrinkly as all hell so i can't say it even looks good honestly and after this many hours out of its packaging i doubt that'll change at least till its washed if then. additionally the fabric will let you know just where your need exfoliating , it catches on any tiny amount of rough skin so beware of that i guess...
