I was skeptical purchasing this based on the small amount of reviews, but I decided, “Why not! It’s a great price, and if I don’t like it, I can return it.” This took about 45 minutes to assemble. It would have taken less time, but I accidentally mixed up to posts (they’re very similar in size), so it took quite a bit of unassembling and reassembling. Other than that, that was easy. As for sturdiness, it’s very sturdy! In the second picture, there are five cats on it. At one point, I had seven cats on it (total weight: ~59lbs). They were jumping all over it, and it wasn’t wobbly at all. A lot of assembly products this big usually have a strong paint smell, even if there wasn’t any paint involved. This product did not have this. I saw some reviews say the cubbies are small. I disagree. While they look small, my 13 lb cat has no problem laying in there to sleep. If I had the room, I would purchase a second one. I’ve got a few people ready to buy this product once it is back in stock. I would give it 10 stars if I could. ... show more

We got this and put this together fairly easily, like others said, parts are not labeled so a tad bit of preplanning and we were just fine. I have purchased a few cat trees over the years and we have to say, it is about 6' tall and sturdier than most trees we have had in the past. We usually add some weights to the bottom but we felt this one didn't need it. Plenty of areas to hide, rest and play. We all thought this one was a great purchase overall and would recommend! Love this product. Super easy to assemble took only about 45 minutes by myself. Simple parts make it easy to go by only using the picture by having only 2 types of screws and 2 lengths of poles. Sturdy enough to hold my 18lb cat and kitten without anchoring to the wall I’d just recommend making sure everything is extremely tight. Cats love it. No weird smell and big enough for my large cat to fit in the hides and on every level. Absolutely worth your money. ... show more

Shipping was longer then stated at purchase. It was fairly easy to assemble with the tool you need included. It only takes about 40 minutes and that’s with someone who does not know what they are doing. It seems very sturdy and I have 8 cats! My cats seem to really enjoy it. The cubby holes are much smaller then I hoped but I could tell from the picture they were on the smaller side. Both cubbies are the same size. Carpet is thick and plush. The Bells make me nervous. 2 kittens got claw stuck within an hour. You can remove them if you want. I would recommend and I would buy again. ... show more

We just adopted 2 kitties & they had been pretty shy, still slinking around & exploring their new surroundings. Once we put the cat tree up they immediately were drawn to it & loved sleeping in the “houses”. Now it is their favorite place to sleep during the day. They use the houses, platforms, love swatting at the balls & enjoy snuggling up in the side pouch. It is very sturdy & attractive. I would definitely recommend this cat tree. I love everything about this cat tower, except I had to change a couple of parts with others because they did not match in size while being built. The tower would not have been level or sturdy if I went by the directions as stated in the pictures. I purchased two of these, one light gray and the other dark gray. I had to change a few parts of both on the same areas. My cats love the trees!! Definitely a good price and good quality!! ... show more

It was straight forward to assemble with the instructions. Additionally, the platform was sturdy enough to stand on its own without anchoring it to the wall. My cats have been having a blast with it already. They love the high cushy perches and the little houses to hide in. They say love the pom-poms with the little bells attached to them. The only point of caution would be the size of some of the areas. My little guys are only a year old and pretty long and lean, but some of the areas are still a tight squeeze, such as the little hole in the platform on the third level.
