Description

2-Pack of Decks. 1 To Skate and 1 to Hang! Get Some! Get your retro style on with this deck originally manufactured by MPI in the 1970's. The Jimbo Phillips model measures 6" x 23.125" with a wheelbase of 10.75". This deck features a flat, pointed nose with an ever so slight kicktail. Obviously since the board is from the 70's it features the old school hole pattern which is still compatible with many of today's modern trucks. Comprised of a single ply of Mahogany wood, the boards thickness measures 7/8". Buy it to skate or hang, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a brand new skateboard manufactured in the 1970s to original skateboard specs. New old stock. Good to very good condition. Light surface wear from age/transportation/storage.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered these and they accidentally shipped me a light and a dark board, which turned out to be great. Both boards may have some small dings - and the finish they originally put on them ain't great - but it's a chunk of wood! Sand it, paint it, ding it up, put some griptape on it... but don't expect perfection on these. That being said, both mine showed up in great shape. The holes line up with mini-trucks from a Retrospec Quip - you may have to do a little hole cleanup but everything went together just fine and mine weren't misaligned or crooked. If you aren't expecting too much - which you shouldn't - this is a fun set of decks to mess around with. I wouldn't use this as my main board, but what am I even talking about? I'm a poser who just skates around the neighborhood... if that's all you are lookin' for then grab one of these decks and have some fun. ... show more

Super nice! I ordered the double mahogany MPI vintage NOS 2 pack ..these girls are thick! 7/8 .it's a solid slab of mahogany! I love it

Mounting holes for trucks are a little off. Boards are a little beat up. But for how old they are it’s just cosmetic.

Nice thick wood for your customization. Or just a rad historic piece of times with no social media or any that bs. Just your boys your skate and some punk rock.

    • Quality board, too small to ride, crooked bolt holes
These boards are beat up. The wood is chipped and the bolt holes are crooked. They are also smaller than a penny board. The board is really thick and seems to be fairly durable, but even as a liquor store board it is lacking in performance and general rideability.

The board it sturdy but the holes alignments are a but off so you cant attach trucks to it, For me that's ok because I was going to hang it up as decoration but it seemed good to include in the review incase you planning on buying this product to ride. Not really what i expected for this item so ill give it a 6/10. ... show more

This item wasn't what I thought it would be and it was in a good way. I thought they would be a lot smaller than they were. I did have a small popsicle board and I thought they would be about the same size. They weren't just bigger but thicker too. I didn't buy to skate I bought them to paint so them being bigger came in handy ... show more
