The product works well enough. The only complaint is the monitor is not stabilized to the portion of the stand that is holding the bracket. So when you go to move/ adjust the angle of the monitor it’s a bit unstable. Overall I’m still satisfied with the purchase.

Super easy to install, a toddler could do it. Unfortunately the fit on my acer r241y monitor is not exact because it wobbles by about fifteen degrees left or right. I also hate that is has about three inches of wasted space at the back because it sits so far away from the back of the monitor. The wobbling isn't the end of the world once you get it all attached to your universal mount and fiddle around long enough with alignment but as a perfectionist, possibly with ocd I wonder why they couldn't make it a better fit. Tldr, it's clunky, ugly and just about the cheap garbage you'd expect to find on Amazon but it does get the job done so points for value and pragmatism.

Bought an arm for my monitor as I upgrade my home office situation, then realized the monitor didn't have a VESA hook up on the back. This adapter did the trick. The only drawback is the depth of the adapter means the monitor is about three inches closer to me than I would have liked, but that might be an unavoidable part of the design. Beats having to buy a new monitor, at least for now.

This is designed with an unnecessary gap of about 2" between the adapter and the back of the monitor, which means that the monitor is held 2" closer to me than the arm is designed to hold it. I see other mounts on Amazon are also designed in this way. Not sure why.
