Why did you pick this product vs others?: So, I was in the market for some basic, flexible storage and landed on this bookshelf. Why did I pick this product vs others? Honestly, it came down to the blend of simplicity, customization, and the low price point compared to heavier, more rigid shelving units. I needed something that could fit my manga. Build quality: The build quality is surprisingly decent for what it is. It's made of metal tubes, ABS plastic connectors, and non-woven fabric shelves. It's not solid wood, obviously, but it feels sturdy enough for its intended purpose - light to medium loads. The thickness of the metal tubes provides good support, and the fabric shelves are thick enough to hold movies without sagging for now. Size: The size is perfect for smaller spaces. I got a multi-cube unit, and it's got a relatively small footprint, which was a huge plus for my apartment in Georgia. It has a good amount of vertical storage without taking over the room. Functionality: Functionality is where it shines. It's incredibly versatile; I'm using it for manga, figures, and even a few Pops. The cube design makes it easy to organize different types of stuff. Weight: Weight-wise, it's super lightweight, which is fantastic for moving it around, or if I ever need to take it down and put it back up. Hardware included: All the hardware included was there, and the assembly instructions were straightforward. It came with the metal tubes, plastic connectors, and fabric shelves. This thing is the most worthless pile of plastic tunes and fabric I have ever seen. I have assembled thousands of projects and had to create solutions when the manufacturer had messed up. But this company really pulled a fast one this time. This tower of frustration has tunes that don't fit tightly into the sockets without having either glue, nail or screws in them will not hold. Then will pull out and the shelf will collapse. Then you must put a support across the shelf rods to create a shelf because the space between the rods is too wade to support most item's. I subscribed to a few fat Dallas magazines to place in the way of shelfs so I can put item's so they don't fall out. Also you must do sure not to place any items toward the back if the cubicles otherwise they will fall out of the holes in the back. This inexpensive shelving unit has cost about 4 times the original cost and I still don't trust it. I have to clamp it to another set of shelves so it doesn't collapse or fall over. If you want to waste your money and time and experience what hell is forever. Then purchase this item. And buy a few for your Mother in Law.

I recently purchased this fabric bookshelf with plastic poles, and while it has some great features, it doesn’t quite meet all my expectations. On the plus side, it’s incredibly easy to assemble, which was a huge time-saver. The fabric shelves are decent for lighter storage, and it’s a good option for organizing small items. However, once I added books to the shelves, it started to tilt a bit, especially when I placed heavier books on the bottom. It’s definitely not as sturdy as I’d hoped, so I wouldn’t recommend it for storing a large collection of books or anything too heavy. It might work fine for light storage or a small collection, but I wouldn’t trust it to hold up under heavy use. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option if you don’t need it to be too durable, but I docked a star for the lack of stability.

It’s fine, but I do have 2 complaints. First, the instructions aren’t clear enough so I was left to guess what some pieces were which ended in it taking longer for me to figure out how to put everything together which isn’t that big of a deal. Overall took me maybe 2 hours to put everything together give or take. The second problem however really irritated me. One of the pieces were damaged so it wouldn’t fit into the hole and now the very top of the book shelf can’t hold anything since it is unstable. It was just one piece and the rest of the book shelf works fine but I would have preferred if everything came in decent condition at least. For 28 dollars it isn’t bad at all if you can get all of your items delivered to you without any damage. The installation can be annoying at first but you quickly start to figure it out.

This shelf lasted me a long time , around 6 months, then I was able to get something more permanent. It is a great alternative for something temporary or permanent, however it was somewhat time consuming to put together.

I bought 3 of these, and the first two were fine and easy to assemble, so I figured why not a third? This is made of cheap materials and is what you should expect for the price, so that’s not a problem for me. The third came with defective parts, the part "C" forming the sides and backboard does not fit all the way around. The reviews stating such are not joking unfortunately, and if you got one wondering how to make part C, the longest cloth, work, you’re not crazy. The product is defective, as I had no issue with the first two.
