All I need are some knee high tube socks that I wore in the 70’s and I’m all set. My sister loved these so much, she’s buying a pair. Roller skating is an excellent exercise for your quads and hamstring and glutes. Have fun while getting in shape:) these skate are soft like butter, run big. I wear an 8 1/2 m so I bought an 8 and they fit great. I recommend leather skates because plastic man made causes your feet to sweat, and blister. Getting back into skating after many, many years. You really get what you pay for. These are reasonable IMO and are great for the skating Im doing outdoors. I LOVE the pink color! These babies are beeeeeaaaautiful! I was nervous about buying the Lollies on Amazon since I've read a bunch of review about how people have received theirs with swapped out parts, but I did not have any issues here. I originally started with the Beach Bunnies in size 7 (I'm a womens 7.5). Those were too large, so I returned them for a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I skated on them for about 30 minutes and they were okay, but I didn't want to spend 10-12 hours breaking them in. So I returned them and splurged for these Lollies instead. I started with the Bunnies because I am new to roller skating but not new to skating. I figure-skated as a kid and did some competitions, but I thought roller skating would be a whole other ball game. It came to me pretty quickly, so I decided to just splurge for the better pair since I knew I would do it in 6 months to a year anyway. And I'm sooooo glad I did. The Lollies blow the Bunnies out of the water. They fit like a glove. They're not stiff and rigid (which, if you're a beginner, you might want that), they're beautiful, and just overall high quality. This isn't to knock on the BBs because they're a perfectly acceptable beginner skate in the mid price range. However, if you're more than a beginner, I recommend just going straight for the Lollies. The media could not be loaded. You get what you pay for! These cost a pretty penny but they are worth it. Very nice! The wheels ride so smooth. I love the colors and the print on the interior. Only complaint is I wish the laces were pretty but these skates are awesome. If your deciding between these and the rainbow riders get these!!!! The fit was perfect! Fit like a glove! I wear a womens 10.5 in vans (was told to check you vans size and use that) so I ordered a 9 they are perfect and the correct side came in .. the only thing that confused me is that on the bottom of the plate it says 7.. ?? If anyone knows why that is please let me know. ... show more

I would recommend the Moxi lolly’s to any one who wants to skate trails and rinks! They’re so beautiful and comfortable, there is absolutely no break in period either. I wear mine with dr scholls inserts and they feel like wearing regular shoes. These Moxi Malibu Barbie LE skates were the third pair to my Moxi collection- I swear by these. ... show more

The skates overall are great but there were a few flaws. For one, the Barbie tag didn’t come with the chain. It was just the metal Barbie heart sitting in one of the boots, no chain. The main issue though was that two of the metal eyelets had burrs/a scrap of sharp metal sticking up which would snag and rip the shoelaces when I pulled them through those eyelets. I had to take a pair of pliers to squash the sharp metal burrs down and squash the eyelets in the process so they would stop ripping my laces. ... show more

I absolutely love these. I like that the upper part of the boot is soft. Enables me to have more flexibility at the rink. These are so comfy you don't need to break them in however I strongly recommend inserts. I have flat feet and the boot rubbed badly on the insides of my feet causing a blisters but they're good now. ... show more

Beautiful and authentic Moxi. Comes with the crab tool. They are theoretically a bit narrow, but the suede allows for wide feet. Folks keep saying that there’s no break in period because they feel like a dream right out of the box — it’s true. For sizing — I usually wear 7W-8W (8W in my Brooks sneakers, for example, 7W-7.5W in dress shoes) and these fit me perfectly in a size 6. They aren’t cheap, but you do get what you pay for.
