Great skates! Would only recommend different laces. These laces are a more slick material and come untied easily. I’ve been skating my whole life and ended up breaking my wrist behind a fall with these laces coming untied when I didn’t know.. yikes I know.. so from my lesson learned to you.. GET NEW LACES lol. Otherwise I love them and will be back on the rink when I am out of a cast haha. Also replaced the wheels with light up wheels and they looked awesome. They are true to size!, if anything size up if you prefer thick socks. Hope this helps someone make a decision on skates because I know I searched high and low in reviews for skates. Love them! I ended up returning these because I have wide feet and decided that a suede skate would work better for me, personally. The vinyl boots do take some more breaking in, compared to suede. I had also purchased one size too big in these. For reference, I wear 7.5/8 wide in U.S women’s sizes, and I sized down to the 7, but it was too long. A 6 would have been perfect. Measure your foot and look at size charts before buying! That said, I did think they were solid skates for beginners, and the gummy wheels that come with them are perfect for sidewalk skating (but maybe not rough asphalt…I would suggest a larger 78a wheel for that. Some people have trouble fitting a 65mm wheel onto these skates, be advised. But most 62mm wheels would fit). I didn’t have any complaints about quality, only that the sizing was off for my foot. If you have ever worn cheaper “kids” skates, or anything with plastic trucks, the Beach Bunnies would be a very big upgrade. They do come with a heavier aluminum plate on the boot, but that is far better than a poorly-made nylon plate, safety-wise. Still giving 5 stars, in terms of quality and style for the price-point, but I would recommend for narrower feet. ... show more

I bought a size 9 used pair (usually wear 10 in shoes) because I didn't know if I would continue to skate but I am IN LOVE with these. Originally, I wanted the pink ones but they didn't have a used pair in my size so I went with the purple ones which are pretty. When I got them they looked BRAND NEW. Brand new for half the price?? I was so giddy. It came in wonderful packaging & with everything in it like the toe covers & little manual. I did, however, scraped my boot skating on asphalt because I didn't put the toe covers on 🙄 definitely disappointed in myself. These wheels are wonderful for going over cracks and asphalt though! It makes riding outside so easy. I found going slow over cracks is worse & it's better if you pick up a little speed. I want to bring these to the rink but I need to change my wheels and bearings first, which I'm not exactly sure how to do/what wheels I need. The boot itself is very comfortable and the whole thing is super cute. They don't hurt my feet at all, but I've yet to wear them for a few hours at a time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Everything I wanted and more!! Ive spent MONTHS debating if I should splurge on these skates. I’ve been learning on some 2nd hand Ridell speed skates w/ gummy outdoor wheels and decided I was ready to fully commit to roller skating. They came next day and are very stiff but in a good way. I personally enjoy having the structure, because I’m not used to a boot. I feel like a lot of people aren’t particularly pleased with the wheels it comes with, but I actually love them! My ride as a whole is so much smoother with this set up. The 2nd pic alarmed me initially because it says made in Cambodia, and I thought Moxi was only made in US or China. I took these to Pigeon Roller Skate shop in Long beach ca and they confirmed they are authentic Moxi! If you are debating making the jump, I say do it!! I’m extremely satisfied with these skates. Just made sure they’re coming from Ridell or Moxi shop and you’re golden! SIZING: I’m a solid 8.5 in womens and the moxi size 7 here fits me perfectly! Happy skating!! ... show more

My Beach Bunny skates came in today, however I had to return them today as well. I noticed as I open my box that my skates had their own individual clear plastic bag along with a few other plastic bags all were open. The items that were supposed to be in the clear bags or just inside of the box. There was also a large black scuff mark on the outside inner portion of my right skate. The left skate was smaller than the right skate. I'm not for sure if these were previously returned or what the reasoning was behind all of my bags being empty and the items just in the box. I will say as soon as my refund gets returned I will be purchasing another pair. I did try them on that's when I noticed that they were two different sizes but I do have to say these were the most smoothest skates I have ever put on my feet. ... show more
