  • Buy them already!!!!!
Color: Periwinkle Sunset Size: 5
The media could not be loaded. Moxi beach bunnies Periwinkle Size 5 I am 5 ft 150 lbs. My build is thick thighs small ankles. Big arms, small wrists (go figure). I normally wear size 6/6.5 so I ordered Size 5 (perfect fit). The skates had a Strong Chemical smell to them, which goes away in time. The boot themselves are made of a super hard vinyl. The skates tongue is thick and made of rubber like an insole. Due to my right foot being fatter than my left Only my right foot felt crammed. They also felt tight on the chins. After 30 minutes my right foot went numb. So I took a break. The 2nd time around it didn’t hurt as much. I’ve had these for about a month and they are much more comfortable now. (either that or I got used to the pain). Nevertheless, they’re Beautiful, Easy gliding quality skates for the price. The Wheels are built for Speed, Which makes them a perfect outdoor skate. Quality skate for under $200! I would most definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Great, super cute skate! Very stable and supportive.
Color: Stawberry Lemonade Size: 6
This is a great skate particularly for beginners or if you’re looking for more support. I feel more stable in these with the stiffness of the boot and the longer wheelbase versus my suede Luna skates. I got these more for cruising outdoors and beginner skate park. Maybe when they get more broken in or I get stronger it will be easier to use it also for some dance moves but it’s definitely less flexible than a suede boot. As of this review, I’m up to about 6 hours in them. They look just like the photos. The boot is a soft, buttery yellow with peach-coral laces. The box and charm are cute too. I appreciate that it already comes with the skate tool and toe caps. On comfort… The very first time I put them on, yeah, kind of painful (vs a suede boot) but I re-laced and it was ok. So, they’re good when I’ve laced them right. I now lace once halfway up, then pull up and adjust the tongue, wiggle my foot around, and then I tighten starting from the toe and then lace all the way up. Other observations… They are much warmer than a suede boot. The stock laces are a bit slippery so if you want a more snug, secure fit, I’d recommend changing laces. I’ve seen some not great reviews about the wheels but I’m quite liking them. They’re pretty grippy and stable. Depends what you’re looking for I guess. Tip on sizing: I bought a 6 and it fits well. Best to measure your foot length for both feet as that is a universal measure. I’m a 24-24.2cm. In regular shoes, I wear 7 or 7.5 (EU 37/38) depending on the brand. ... show more

  • Great for beginners or intermediate
Color: Periwinkle Sunset Size: 6
I love my Moxi Beach Bunny skates. They are so beautiful and compliment my copper skin tone very nicely. They are some of the best skates for dance skating but I also love to street skate in them. They stand out whenever I wear them in the streets. I get a lot of compliments on how they look but also how well I can skate in them. The wheels are soft for outdoor roller skating. My feet are not narrow but they fit me perfectly. I wear a women’s shoe size 7.5 or 8 and got my bunny’s in size 6. The size 7 bunny’s were too big and were sliding inside the boot. They were a little snug at first. Snug but not tight. These are some high quality skates at an affordable price. Make sure that you tie them all the way up until you break them in. If you have not so narrow feet like me, I recommend not wearing socks and tightening the laces around the ankle but keeping the laces loose around the foot. That way you avoid blisters or any pain from wearing the boots. ... show more

  • Moxi Beach Bunny, Lolly or Sure-Grip Boardwalk?
Color: Periwinkle Sunset Size: 7
I ordered these Beach Bunnies in periwinkle and LOVED them. They are super snug when you try them on, but follow the sizing on the Moxi site, don't listen to some of the reviews saying they bought their normal size. I am guessing those people did not put them on all the way, lace them up and ride around in their house. I am mostly an 8.5 and I got size 7. I thought my feet were being crushed when I put them on, but they loosened up in the front to back direction with a very thin sock (you should be able to be able to wiggle your toes when you bend your knees in true skate position.). However, after three days of this, they were just too tight around the ball of my foot and I know they won't stretch because they are vinyl :(. Sadly, I looked for other options. I then went with the Sure-Grip Boardwalk, size 7 in purple. These are suede so will stretch. I got them and they felt too big, but I got out a thick sock and tried to love them (I bought them through RollerSkateNation and they wanted $20 restocking fee AND to pay the shipping back!), I really tried to love them...but they just did not glide like the Beach Bunnys and the suede was so stiff and rubbed my ankles to death. They also hurt the back of my legs. So, too torture myself, I got a third option (but through Amazon this time, so I can send them back. Lesson learned). Next option, the super expensive Moxi Lollys. I got them in purple, size 7. First, they are beautiful and not counterfeit, like some say on these site. Someone said that they were supposed to have ABEC 7 bearings and these came with 5 so they were counterfeit. I looked them up on the Moxi site and they say ABEC 5, so I am not sure where they got that idea. Anyway, these are genuine, same box, same skates and come with the skate tool. So, how were they? Oh my god! They are amazing and fit perfectly! I immediately wore them out knowing that I am going to have to buy them and pay that stupid fee to send the Boardwalks back because, well, they really are amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the could have a little more cushioned insole, but I can add one. So, all and all, if you foot was a little more narrow, I would have been completely and utterly happy with the Beach Bunnies, but, since they weren't going to stretch, I had to opt for the more expensive Lolly, but I won't regret it!!!! ... show more
