These blankets really do their job. Good padding to protect your items. We used to move commercial kitchen equipment and they worked great. We bought these instead of renting from the truck rental place. Great purchase! Very good value.

A decent price for a fairly sturdy blanket. Indeed these blankets feel more like two pieces of fabric sewn together without stuffing (there is a tiny bit of batting between the layers) but they worked very well for my moving project, mostly the wrapping of furniture to prevent scuffs. The fabric is reasonably abrasion resistant, unlike some blankets I boughht at harbor freight which immediately produced great tears. Some customers complaiend about a strong odor. I did not notice anything particularly strong. Some customers complained that it was very diffficult to unpack the bale of blankets. This was not the case for me. They blankets are very tightly compressed and bundled with 6 or 8 pieces of twine tied in a bow. With a little trial and error each strand could be released without need for knife or scissors. Beware the bale of 12 blankets in the box is pretty heavy. Beware you may throw out your back carrying the box. ... show more

I do not have a garage or carport. I bought this to place under my car cover during storms. Where I live summer storms usually come with hail. These blankets are heavy enough to stay in place while I’m scrambling put my car cover on. It will be a good buffer for small hail. Item came fast guessing because of Amazon Prime. But the blanket isn't NOT THICK as we expected. Size was correct. Not durable one of my guys tried wrapping a chair with the rubber band and the blanket go throne because the blanket is not thick at all .
