I bought these specifically for vacationing in New York. I generally wear a size 6, and these were a tiny bit snug, but only after two or three days of wearing did it start to bother me. The pleated tongue keeps them fully water resistant. The fur is more like a Sherpa lining, and they were very warm. I'm extraordinarily happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

Wanted them for the snow but was worried they may not be water proof or keep my feet warm. Luckily, they kept my feet completely dry even after I stepped in pretty deep puddles. They’re cute and cozy but you might want to add inserts for more comfort.
