Beautiful and great for those with little counter top space. The bottom rubber could have been slightly larger or thinner now the item seems to wobble a bit (but doesn't really) but beautiful and not as big but so much nicer to look at than my old oversize ugly plastic one.

    • Pretty box - just narrow
It’s very nice looking, well polished, and solid. The capacity is very good for a couple days worth. Here are the negatives: 1) it’s a VERY narrow diameter (less than the Grandenstein) so you’ve gotta be careful when knocking or else you’ll hit the sharp sides, 2) the rubber pad on the bottom doesn’t extend to the edges! This is pretty cheesy because it causes instability/rocking! Because the tamp bar is so hard and the box so stiff, you don’t have to whack it very hard so the above negatives are tolerable. However, if you look at the price and don’t care about looks, then the Grandenstein is a better functioning box for half the price. ... show more

Edit: remove one star. After using it for a while don’t like that this knock box is too small, sometimes the puck brake and fall on the table making a mess. Still Like what I previously wrote. Great quality, heavy stainless steel construction Made in Italy. The only bad is the base bottom, made of foam for grip that is good but it’s too small and it make things imbalance. I think i would fix that by removing it and placing a DIY rubber base ... show more

Sure, when I first got my expresso machine and was learning how to to dial in a good grind and tamp, I had trouble getting the grounds to nicely go in the thing. However, once I figured out what I was doing, this little guy is perfect and I have zero issue getting the puck of grounds to knock in every time and with no mess. Not sure why people say it’s too small. I have had this for a year and a half. Love it. I empty it once a week. The mouth is plenty big for my Breville Barista pods. Solid stainless construction. Not flimsy.

    • Heavy duty and just the right size, not overwhelming.
This product is made in Italy which is why it's a little pricey. The stainless steel is thick, not flimsy. I was worried that it may be too small since other brands are 8 to 10 inches in diameter. This is a little more than 4 inches in diameter. It fits perfect in my kitchen counter next to my Breville Barista Express. ... show more

Very high quality knock box. Goes well with stainless grinder and espresso machine. I like that the pieces can be disassembled from the box for cleaning. Should last forever. Worth the cost.
