Needs another set of screw holes for base, base should be longer, .. it works ok, electric motors are 45/ 55lbs hard to attach your baddle lock..

I used this to mount my MinnKota Powerdrive to the deck of my pontoon boat. The motor has to go in the area of the gate on the front of the boat so it's nice to have the ability to quickly and easily remove the trolling motor if I'm not going to be using it.

Works just fine for my motorguide. Ver fast to remove the trolling motor for storage or if I just don't want it that day. Just leaves a little pad on the boat when you take it off. I saved a little money over the aluminum. I've used it maybe a dozen times now and so far no problems.
