    • Hot grips!
Easy to install. Works great! Low setting is pretty hot for a summer morning. High setting will probably be great this winter for near freezing temps. So inexpensive that I can't imagine not using these again. great upgrade on my old bike. :) Really like the rocker switch too.

    • Needed a bit of extra engineering to install
These work surprisingly well once installed, but my bike’s throttle has a plastic tube that extends the length of the handlebar grip. The right heated grip has interior flutes (ridges) that are intended to be pressed over that tube to hold it in place, but they actually squeeze the tube so that it can’t turn and the throttle can’t operate. I had to use a 1” spade drill bit to ream out the inside of the grip and remove the flutes. Then, with a little adhesive, the throttle grip pressed on nicely and works very well. My grips do not both get to the same temperature, the left is warmer than the right, but they are both very adequately warm. Apparently this is common even on factory grip warmers.
