I am a renter, so I have purchased and used contact paper countless times to add color and texture to my apartment. Sometimes it’s an extremely frustrating experience with poor adhesive, discoloration and cheap-looking results. Not this. I had a different paper in this exact place above my kitchen cabinets and ended up taking it down because it wasn’t adhering to the wall. What a pain! That was two full days of work. I received this at my doorstep and it was placed on the wall within an hour. This paper is so easy to work with! It adheres well and it is very forgiving! (Speaking of forgiving, excuse the messy kitchen. I just wanted to show you that it looks better than I thought it would, on my wall!) If you like the pattern and look of this, don’t hesitate in buying it. It is worth the very reasonable price.

Another review said that the surface had to be super smooth, and that is true. The condo I bought was a rental for many years, so it was Landlord Specialed to the Nth degree. I cant renovate right now but need a quick bandaid to get me through to that time, so I landlord specialed again with this wallpaper as a backsplash. There are a ton of lumps and bumps all over the walls. So I covered those with painters tape and then applied the wallpaper over it. That really helped it lay better. One piece I had to take off and then I sprayed adhesive to put it back but it bubbled pretty bad, so don't do that. 🤣 But all in all I think it was pretty easy to work with, it was only my 2nd ever time to do anything with wallpaper. So far so good. Oh also, the color said tan, the design is brown. That might mess someone up who is depending on a tan color.

This is one of 3 different wallpapers I ordered to make some updates to our camper trailer. Compared to the other two, this one is the most frustrating to install. It's incredibly sticky, so make sure you have it exactly lined up how you want it before you stick it down, because there's no going back (or give it a try and expect rips or creases in your paper. The smoother the surface, the more difficult it is to remove. It tears extremely easily, so be very careful when you are working around corners or edges of obstacles. Other papers have a tiny bit of stretch which helps to make precise cuts around obstacles , but not this stuff... it's almost brittle. If you have a single flat surface with no obstacles this paper will be no problem. It is printed so the edges can be lined up. It needs to be fairly precise, but there's more room for error than with some prints (like stripes). I've used a heat gun on other wall/contact papers to work out bubbles, and it usually works pretty well unless it's a very large bubble or crease. This paper actually gets more bubbly with heat. That was very frustrating. This would stick well to textured walls but would show every single dimple, so consider that. The roll came with lines of the backing paper not stuck to the wallpaper, which created almost a fold, that did not smooth out, even with heat. Overall I don't mind that the end result isn't perfect because it's just our camper, but it was very frustrating to work with, and other than needing to order one more small roll to have enough to finish the job, I will definitely not be ordering this brand again. It's in the bathroom and I know every time I sit on the toilet I will be staring at and groaning about all of the little imperfections I couldn't avoid.

This paper is really pretty. If you are looking for a bright paper with vivid print, this is not it. It is light and toned down but just enough if you are looking for a subtle change to your room. It was relatively easy to put up but there was a little learning curve when putting up the first piece. We had no problem matching up each piece or removing the air bubbles. It shipped quickly. Overall I am very satisfied with this paper.

I tried using this in a powder room, but it would not stick. My walls are pretty heavily textured, though, so perhaps that was the issue. It is a really pretty, subtle pattern and I used it to line my drawers, so not a waste, just not really wallpaper to me. If anyone is familiar with contact paper from back in the day, it reminds me of that - has a sort of shiny vinyl look. Also I may have really measured wrong, but I ordered the second size and it only covered 3 drawers so if you were doing a whole wall it would have to cost a fair bit (especially since you lose some of it pattern matching).
