The one thing it lacks is proportional control & maybe an even slower slow-speed. I bought & returned the DCM 272D3 which cost 5x this model, and still not proportional. So without going to hydraulics and ++$$, this is all the fun & detail I need.

i think it;s great. yeah its plastic and yes it clicks under a hard strain, but it hasn't broken. i would not hand this to a kid if you want it kept in one piece. older youths that can respect what it is and its limitations should have no problem. good for adults as well you won't find a better unit for the money. i know cause i've tried. love it. good platform for you DIY upgraders i would think.

Slow speed isn’t slow enough. That’s the only bad thing I can say about this toy. Everything else works as expected, and it can load a fair amount of material. Good value for the money.

The media could not be loaded. We bought several RC excavators at this price range and they couldnt actually scoop anything up on their own. This thing actually functions like the real thing! With the controllable action on the arm and the bucket it gives you lots of movement to work with. My boy is 5 and he is obsessed with this thing!

Really wanted this to work. It does wheelies so you really can’t grab dirt with it. It only drives good on a hard surface and goes to fast(turning and driving. I will keep it for a model

Cool remote control for adults and kids!! Hours of fun battery last a long time. Only thing I would change is have attachments. Would highly recommend!!!!
