After purchasing this printer, it was up and running within 10min. It runs great, was almost perfectly level out of the box, and pretty quiet as well. I did have an issue of the power cable being very loose and if you tapped it, the machine would turn off. The main issue here is that I decided to use the filament that came with the printer and that made everything fail. My printer came with a .5kg roll of white filament which I used for a print. While I stepped away from the printer, somehow the printer knocked the print with the removable magnetic surface clean off of the heated bed and it kept pushing filament into itself. I unfortunately wasn't around to watch this happen since I thought I could trust this machine. However, the filament that comes with it, was it's downfall as it kept melting filament into itself. As you can see in the pictures, some of the filament was clearly burning too. I've never had this issue on any other printer or with any other filament before. I'll probably be looking for a printer that has some kind of sensor or camera to stop printing when there is an issue like this on the nozzle occurs. The media could not be loaded. We've never used a 3d printer before but were able to figure it out. Simple assembly instructions, easy to follow, the machine feels steady and it's very quiet while it's printing. For our first project we modeled a dinosaur in Blender, and managed to import the model into Cura and print it out as directed. I love the results! The level of detail and precision in the print was better than I expected. We had to make small tweaks to our 3D model because some parts were too thin for the printer to handle, or there was not enough support, but those are common issues easily fixed after watching a few youtube videos on how to 3D print properly. This is my first 3D printer ever! It came with a nice package and was equipped with all necessary tools for assembly. As someone who doesn’t know that much about mechanics, I found the installation guide very straightforward and easy to follow. I finished the set up in no time. Printed out several models right away. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this printer. It’s delivered the second day. I printed a Squirel come in in the SD card immediately. It looks great as in the above picture. I downloaded a badminton birdie 3D model from the internet. I used Ultimaker-Cura software to convert into G-code file and store it in the SD card. Printed it out as showing in the video.     • Never worked out of the box
After following all set up instructions, I started my first print. I have not been able to finish one print. The filament cloggs at the heat block and nozzle. I have sent messages to Anet support, and have never recieved a reply.

    • Great printer but Cura inhibits a lot
First of all, the printer out of the box prints from sd card like a champ. Amazing quality prints. BUT Cura leaves a lot to be desired, no pre extrusion, the layers aren't meshed well just goes on with a good slicer it would be a great printer.

The media could not be loaded. As you should be able to see it doesn't print well at all any thing over 5 inches gets cut off it's as though the print head stops going up and the nozzle keeps catching the edge of the project lifting the burn plate and cutting it off track I looked for tech support but you got mexico to call or south east Asia. They don't respond withh a call just email if they answer at all This is the second printer and it's just as bad as the first My opinion is find a different printer ... show more

    • Total disappointment!!!
1. The direction manual is awful! Basically, there is no direction and not even a YouTube video for guidance. 2. The printer won't print correctly straight out of the box using the preset designs and the filament it came with. 3. Terrible trouble shooting direction. 4. Unable to remove parts like the nozzle without breaking it apart. 5. Waiting to hear from customer service for any guidance or an option to return this junk! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GOOGLE WHAT YOU BUY! Make sure there are good instructions or videos of the make and model. ... show more
