If you still struggle with it, there are so many videos online to help with application. As the listing states, the nail kit is for beginners. I take this to mean those beginning their nail tech training. Not a middle schooler who has decided they want to do their nails (not to say they can't get a kit and do the same thing). With all products, care has to always be taken, regardless. Someone mentioned the warnings on everything; yeah, for safety reasons. We have to put "do not eat" on tide pods, I think companies are just trying to cover their own butts, and that precautions should always be taken. ... show more

I can't think of one thing you'd need to purchase outside of this kit. The media could not be loaded. For someone who wants to learn how to DIY with acrylic nails, this should be the go-to kit. It is jam packed with everything you could possibly need including a nice e-file with all the bits and even a ceramic bit. It even has a training finger you can work on. It was so much fun to open and look thru, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that instructions were included as to how to turn the box into multi-compartment storage to keep all your accessories in. From clear and french nail tips to multi colored and white rhinestones and a great assortment of glitter powders, the box is loaded. I was pulling so much stuff out of it that it seemed bottomless. There are literally hundreds of different ways to use the powders and glitters to make countless different looks. If you're looking for a reasonably priced gift someone who wants to learn how to DIY their acrylic manicures, this would be an absolute hit! Great kit for starting out. It comes with all you need to try doing nails at home. I would recommend watching videos to get better understanding of the skills/techniques needed. This box was almost perfect. Unfortunately it doesn't come with nail primer which was so surprising since most kits include it. This kit mainly focuses on design which is fun- you have various colored powders and rhinestones. 2 different colored tips and the tips are a tapered empress shape which is my absolute favorite. Also my glue came dry so that was a bummer. The kit overall is good- the monomer is fast setting so I should probably discontinue calling it a beginners kit ... show more
