I’m on a MASSIVE tea kick right now and started getting annoyed at the limitations of tea balls. Enter the Mora line. I bought the small one with spoon first and had this large mug on order within 5 minutes of receiving it. It’s an attractive mug, feels nice in hand, and the strainer is exactly the level of, well, ‘strain’ you might want. It can get a bit warm on the outside if fully boiling water goes in, but the handle mitigates this. I love that it comes with a lid, keeping things warm for longer steep times. Note that it’s not a snug-fitting lid but stays in place nonetheless, even after it came for a drive in my door cup holder. It also keeps the water from splashing out after I get a refill at the office. And when my tea is done steeping, I take the strainer out and pop it on top of the lid. The price may feel steep for ‘just’ a mug but it’s absolutely worth it - it feels like a proper tea mug and I’ve been using it all day every day. ... show more

I bought this for myself to make loose tea at work. It is so nice to hold (sturdy and thick walled) and the strainer is just right for the British loose tea I use. I love it, and have had many compliments on it, I would definitely gift this to a tea lover. It comes in lovely packaging too.

    • Beautiful Mug -- Fits the LoveSac Drink Holder perfectly!
i was searching for a new coffee mug that I could seat in the LoveSac drink holder as the handle is too low in all of the ones I already have (and most of the coffee mugs out there). This one caught my eye, even though it's advertised for tea drinkers. I'm glad I took the chance, as it's absolutely beautiful. Sturdy, well made and works with LoveSac's drink holders perfectly. The tea infuser that came with it will fit on just about any mug you own, which is an added bonus. There's a lid too, although I probably won't use it -- only because I'd be knocking it off every time I absent-mindedly reached for my drink without taking my eyes away from my computer. But it's also beautiful and fits the mug like a dream. I purchased the black "Nightwaves" color, which is a muted matte black (almost grey) and just gorgeous. This Mora mug, lid and diffuser were clearly made to be quality products. The cup stands 6" tall and weighs in at a whopping 1 lbs, 2 oz without the lid and diffuser. It weighs 1 lb, 6 oz with the lid and diffuser.., Now, imagine adding 20 ounces of liquid to the cup. That's heavy!! It's a nice set, everything washes well but the mug is some work to hold on to. When it's full, the cup/drink so heavy, you will need to put it down in between sips. This mug keeps your hot drinks warm for a long time compared to thin ceramic or porcelain tea cups.
