  • LEAD FREE ALL NATURAL GLAZE: We know that lead is a poison, but what some of us don't know is that it is in a lot of ceramic glazes, since there is no US regulation for lead in adult products. Unlike other ceramic companies, our glazes are lead free, meaning you will never have to worry about lead leaching into your system and making you sick. Since our glaze is all-natural, it tends to change color depending on the lighting. The color may be a tad different from what you see on your screen.

I couldn’t be happier with this butter dish! It’s handsome and well crafted, and the butter lasts on my counter for weeks without spoiling, growing mold, or any other issue. It’s amazing how well it works really, especially bc I thought it might not since it didn’t have one of those silicone band seals around the rim. Instead, the slightly oversized just fits perfectly to create a seal with the overhang. Much better, which I can say bc I purchased this one when the last one I had — the most popular butter keeper with the silicon ring — failed completely over time as the lid wouldn’t remain closed, it would inch up and thereby introduce air to the butter creating all kinds of problems. I love this butter dish not only because it looks beautiful on my counter and table but it also works well-I love the option to use it multiple ways. I tend to keep it as the photo shows. This is a heavy, well made dish. I wish I could buy the whole line of matching products!

I love this butter dish. It's so simple, yet really pretty. We use European style butter so I love I can put a whole block in the dish. I also like that you can put the butter either in the "lid" or in the deeper dish. I was a little disappointed there was was a tiny scratch on the lid but it's not a big deal. ... show more

This product is exactly as pictured. The quality is unmatched and versatility of having a butter dish or butter crock was exactly what I was looking for. For our family use a crock is much better because butter doesn't get everywhere, but when we host dinner having a butter dish is nice! We ONLY use Irish butter like kerrygold and this dish is perfect for that. Would also probably fit two sticks of normal butter if that's what you prefer.
