It’s a very nice product it comes with a magnetic ring in case your phone doesn’t have MagSafe like android phones I put the ring that’s included on the back of the power bank so I can put my MagSafe wallet on the back it’s very thin around half an inch I’d say but I’d recommend getting a short charger like a 6 inch one for your phone so you can charge wired if you care about charging efficiently Pros -It has an input and output usbc port -very thin and light -strong magnets (won’t fall off unless you’re trying to make it come off) -comes with a usbc to usbc charger (although small) -wired charging is very fast 10-15% in 10-20 minutes -very good when in a rush -passthrough charging (you can charge the power bank while also charging your phone at the same time and doesn’t get too hot charges very slow though) Cons -wireless charging is very slow got about 20-25% in an hour (after using this for a few weeks now the charging got more efficient and a lot faster it took 1 full discharge to get it to work properly) -gets pretty warm while charging (not too uncomfortable but it’s noticeable) Misc -hangs a little off my iPhone SE 2022 a little (will hang off the 12 or 13 mini a little as well) -It’s a little thicker than my phone with a case on but it’s not that much of a problem -you have to press the button on the bottom to start charging it (Edit I bought the 13 mini recently and the magnet strength is significantly weakened by the camera bump to the point I can’t even press a button lightly without it coming off my phone) ... show more

I bought one of these when they first came out and loved it. Had it for about a year until I lost it recently. I ordered a replacement and it’s different from the launch version. There is now a little notch in the top corner, presumably to avoid the camera on smaller phones. It may still end up blocking the lens, but at least it will lay flat now. The product description doesn’t (currently) mention this feature at all, but I figure it would be helpful to know. It also seems a little slimmer, but that may just be my imagination and I don’t have the old one anymore to compare. Either way it’s comfortable to hold and fits easily into pockets. The MagSafe connection is pretty strong when mounted directly to the back of the phone, but your mileage may vary when using a case. I use a MagSafe case and even then end up losing some strength, but it’s good enough. You can always use the extra metal ring if it’s too weak for your liking. It won’t quite fully charge the Pro Max iPhones, but will get you about 75% from empty. You do have to press the power button to turn the battery on before mounting it, otherwise it won’t charge. That’s a little annoying but not a dealbreaker. Overall I’m a big fan of this battery. You can get larger capacity packs for the same price, but the convenience factor is unbeatable. ... show more

  • Very useful and portable
Style: Charger
This unit helped keep my iPhone 12 Pro Max charged while I was in Japan (really anywhere) all day. It’s not big enough to charge the phone 0 to full but that would require a much larger battery pack and would not be portable. I almost returned it when it did not fully charge my phone but realized it should be used as an emergency charger. With the MagSafe, it makes the phone easy to use when you need it. ... show more

  • Great if you have reasonable expectations
Style: Charger
I got this for a phone with a 5,000mAh battery, the same capacity as this power bank, but I can only charge my phone about 50% with light usage, this is because wireless charging is inherently inefficient, plus I'm using the case which brings the cool in my phone and the coil in the power bank further apart lowering efficiency even more. You will not get 5000mAh out of this which is no fualt of Mophie's, but even so I think it's a great product. The adapter ring sticks well to my case even though it has ridges and the magnets hold together really well. I think a good balance was struck between size and capacity. It also gets warm, but not to the point that I believe it's seriously lowering the lifespan of any components. TL;DR: it's a good power bank with a good mag safe adapter for non-apple phones, and if you come into the purchase knowing that wireless charging is inherently inefficient, you'll be happy. ... show more

  • Doesn't work with my Pixel 3xl with case
Style: Charger
Once it's charging it charges fast, which deserves a high score. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my Pixel 3xl with a case. Knowing my pixel 3xl is not magnet-compatible, I searched around and picked this one that offers a snap adaptor, or a magnetic ring. However it gave no response at first touch, with or without a case. Don't attempt to align the magnet ring with the circle track on the batter, I will tell you why in a second. While I was playing between the phone and the charger. I found the charging only started under one situation: unplug the battery, and take it to the back of the phone at the charging position. No charging yet. But now plug the battery in and move about between the battery and the phone. Be careful to attach the two bodies tight. Then Duh~~it clicked, and the charging started. Now you can either keep it plugged or off. While plug-on, you can move the battery alone the back of the phone up and down, the charging doesn't break as long as the attachment doesn't. If you plug it off--come on it's a mobile charger we have to plug it off on the go, the charging breaks right away. But now you move the battery around, again not detached from the phone, you will find the click moment and the charging resumed. It seems it needs a stimulator to jumpstart the charge on my pixel 3xl. The simulator is plug-in. What do I find a plug while I am on the move? Then it becomes a stationary charger. Have to return it. ... show more

  • Just get a normal charger, this is a joke
Style: Charger
Without a case on this battery only recognizes the phone and starts charging maybe 50% of the time and the contact with the back has to remain perfect, you can't put this battery in your pocket and hope that it will stay attacked to the phone well enough to charge. The heat generated is excessive and there is a LOT of loss (less than half a charge on my iphone 11 pro while using over half of the battery from this product and VERY slow). With even a thin case this battery will not connect to the phone 80% of the time. Wish I hadn't thrown the box away so I could return. ... show more

  • Phone Revitalizer
Style: Charger
I bought this because my Samsung Note 8 has been slowly dying on me for a couple of years. The USB-C port on it basically is so finnicky that I can't get it to charge if it doesn't like the cable, so I have a few cables that are precious to me. Well, this thing was able to glue to my case and then attach this battery, and now it really does recharge, and if I ever have issues I can just charge the battery and then hook it to my phone. It's not the most efficient process for energy, but it's made it to where my phone has new life. The battery isn't that powerful. I do wish it was about the length of my phone too, because the short battery makes holding my phone a bit awkward, but honestly I really like the product. ... show more

  • Zero Complaints - 3rd MagSafe battery Zero Complaints - 3rd MagSafe battery
Style: Charger
I feel people who complain just are a bit oblivious to the ugly truth of how batteries work. I however don’t share those traits. I support Mophie so much I just needed their MagSafe battery too. Any extra charge is better than none. Only thing I dislike is how close it gets to the camera as the case is made up of a plastic material around the cut out on my cases. Otherwise 5 Stars (what I’m giving this). Disclaimer for the complainers of price: you get one MagSafe ring to use on non-MagSafe phones to make them compatible, this would be a $10 value. So before you complain about price consider that’s included too. Also use a MagSafe case OR case less too because the magnets aren’t weak. These user(s) who review negative are just looking for reasons to complain because they don’t know how magnets work. — **iPhone 12 Pro Max user** — ... show more
