The inside pockets are trimmed and the zipper compartment is deep. It holds a phone, wallet, comb, makeup (lipstick, powder compact, and liner,), hand -cream, keys, pens, and mints. Very well made. This purse is so pretty and a great size. The only thing I do not like is that the strap is not as pictured. I ordered the Teal Blue bag which showed the same color strap, but the strap included is brown. Otherwise, love the bag color.
