I chose this purse first for the color, turquoise, which is my favorite color. I believe this purse comes in other colors too. It's made from vegan leather and the purse is lined with a lovely patterned silky type fabric. I was not expecting the lining to be as nice as it is! It's a gold/brown fabric that's soft but silky and has a very light pattern of small purse straps with the initials of this company. Usually I get purses with all black lining that's stiff but this purse does not have that. It's bigger than I thought it would be, which for me, is the perfect size of a small crossbody bag. It measures approximately 9" wide and 6" high. The strap itself has a width of 2" made from a heavy matching pattern with brown and turquoise, the fabric of the strap is sturdy and looks like it's made to last for a long time. There's two compartments so there's two zippers on top, one compartment has a small zippered pocket, while the other one just has an open compartment, they're both roomy though. Keep in mind that this is a small crossbody purse meant to hold a phone, keys and small change purse or wallet. There's also one outside zippered compartment. Every zipper is firmly sewn in place and they're not stiff like some new purses can be. I am very happy with this purse as it went beyond of what I thought it would be. This would make a great gift, but I'm keeping mine!

I needed a crossbody purse to use when I don't need to carry around my bulky tote bag. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Montana West Crossbody Bag made out of vegan leather. At first, I had a difficult time deciding which vivid, bright color to order. I decided on Hot Pink because I do wear several pieces of clothing with various shades of deep pink. This purse is functional as well as beautiful and almost feels like real leather. The size is perfect (see photo measurements). The zippers appear to be of decent quality, and the pull tassel-straps are a nice touch. The Product name appears on the front of the bag but blends in enough to not annoy me. I appreciate the side zipper pocket and 2 separate, dividing zipper pockets to hold just enough items, like my iPhone 13, kindle paperwhite, sunglasses in a soft case, a small journal, a change purse, credit card holder, etc. The inner cloth lining is a different color but seems durable enough to wipe clean. The 2" wide, fabric strap perfectly matches the Hot Pink of the purse. It was easy to attach, and the buckle can be adjusted to wear this bag as a crossbody, off-the-shoulder, sling, etc. for your convenience. The only thing is, I wish it included a smaller, thinner, Hot Pink strap to use sometimes, instead of the wide, colorful one. All in all, I think the current price of $29.99 with a 20% off coupon is a fantastic deal for a small bag of this quality.

This MontanaWest crossbody bag is excellent for traveling. It measures about 9” X 6” and the width is expandable to 3”. There are two compartments inside with a side zipper pocket. It should be noted a full-size 7 inch long ladies wallet would be a tight fit. Anything shorter would fit better. A smartphone, passport, and a wallet can fit in this purse. The vegan leather, zippers, and the hooks connecting the strap to the bag look durable. There is one outside zippered pocket. There are no decorative studs or embossing on the vegan leather. I used it for short travel trips. It can be worn as crossbody style or over the shoulder. The strap length is adjustable. I will say that if my son were a baby now, I wouldn’t use this bag. There’s no room for all the extra baby/toddler stuff. I chose the turquoise color, and it’s vibrant without being glaringly ostentatious. It’s a good value crossbody bag. As an aside, I have a friend who’s been using her MontanaWest handbag for 15 years, so I have confidence in this brand.

Purses are really subjective as everyone is looking for something different. I have learned I prefer this shape (horizontal rectangle) as less stuff tends to fall to the bottom. I also need several compartments. I also really like the fact that the strap is wide (much more comfortable and stays put) as well as adjustable. The color selection is also a plus and I love the dark purple color I chose. In the outer tiny zipper compartment, I have a pen and a hand wipe. In the front zipper section, I have a cosmetic bag with lip balm, tweezers, etc. In the back zipper section, I have a hairbrush, my wallet, and hand sanitizer spray. In the inside zip pocket, I have business cards. With all this and then adding my phone & keys, it is tight - just barely closes. So for my needs, I would prefer the bag to be just slightly wider/ deeper - I really can't fit my Kindle or any other random things. Personally, I do not care for the print on the strap but I won't change it because I love the width so much. And as another personal opinion, I would prefer the brand logo not be so large and in your face. The quality seems very good and the material sturdy.
