  • Was this rated for a .510?
Color: Black
I have put over 30 shots of .510 cal on this optic, and it did not miss a beat. So far so good. Clear. Clean. Etching spot on. Illumination-spot on. Finish pristine, with zero chunking of the matte silicone. Light. Easy to zero. Holds zero. Short and compact, with huge FOV dialing at 3x magnification was a treat! Handles recoil of a .510 PCP (1000 fps 790 FPE 30" barrel challenger bullpup) from 275 gr clear up to 375 gr hyper expansive HP's by Mr. Hollow point (giving mad respect where mad respect is due). Very little if any POI change. A 790+ FPE rifle in the PCP realm is a lot of recoil (akin to like a 45 acp SBR or similar). Dialed out to 75 but it can easily give a great FOV on 150 or greater. The eye relief takes some getting used to but not hard to overcome, just watch the bridge of your nose on those bigger recoil guns. Would I recommend:? Heck yes I would, especially for those ak and ar guys. ... show more

  • The Snap, the flecks and the retical
Color: Black
I always through this optic had a lot going for it. Aprox 100$ low magnification making it a jack of all trades (Master at none) and looks super cool 😎 I wanted a cheap, simple low magnification optic for one of my rifles and well... Here's my experience with it so far... (I'll do my best to I keep it brief) I'm gonna start off this review initially giving the optic a 5/5 stars purely at face value and what it says it offers. First arrival: Comes in a nice simple box that holds it well, would keep if I wanted to store it. Also came with a rubber eye cup glass protector, 1 battery, and I think 1 or 2 micro fiber cloths. (Nice touch but I really don't care too much +0.5 stars) Overall build quality: Seems nice, not rattly, nothing is loose and feels good in the hand. What you would expect. I did not know that it is "Range adjustable" the black ring in the back of the optic that holds the glass end you look through actually screws out partly to change the focus of the optic (The further you unscrew the easier close objects are to see) Doesn't seem too practical and wish it did not need to focus at all, I just leave it all the way in as it comes. (+0 stars) Glass quality/Retical: It's fine, nothing special HOWEVER, there are 2 small flecks of what I'm going to assume is paint? Dust maybe? On the inside of the glass somewhere. It not noticable unless your looking for it OR are looking at it at an illuminated Target/ using it at night in conjunction with a flash light. My retical was a O with a • in the middle like advertised. (Some people say they get something different) I like it HOWEVER the red/green illustration settings bleed light into the rest of the optic when in use actually lowering the overall view quality noteably more so at night. During the day on a very bright day even on the highest setting it's somewhat hard to see. Personally I just leave it off. (The little black flecks are only slightly annoying and don't obscure your fov, the Illumination for the retical kinda sucks, -0.5 stars) Mounting... Oh boy...: Got it where I wanted it easy enough, it mounts using 2 tower Nuts that need use of a wrench (Or pliers/multi-tool ect) to tighten (No cut out for a flat head screwdriver) I was told it's wise to put lock-tight or thread locker on the bolts so I used a healthy amount of BLUE Lock-T before tightening them down. Alternating between the two nuts a few twists at a time with a hand wrench. I began getting them snugly hand tight just like you would any other optic. I stared to hit a light amount of resistance on the rear nut and continued through it (Not cranking on it super hard just wanting It hand tight) when all the sudden the nut snapped off! Bouncing around the garage before landing somewhere. Still haven't found it, feel very lucky it didn't take an eye out. I gather myself and tighten the front bolt cautious and let the lock tight set. The bolt was still completely threaded into the mounting mechanism and held tight onto my rail. The head of the nut simply snapped clean off though. Since now I have to drill out that bolt to remove the scope I decide to see if it would hold zero (in theory it should since only the head of the bolt popped off and the rest was still in there with lock tight... -2 for the catastrophic failure of the mount system and -1 because now I can't remove it without power tool or stick it on any other rail after that happens) Zeroing: For context it lives on a 14.5" Barrel 5.56 chambered AR-pistol. Took it to the range and to my surprise the optic obtained and retained zero. Quite accurately too as I was able to shoot the center of a quarter sized target from aprox 25 yards away. I was impressed, despite it's catastrophic failure the optic was still firmly bound to the rail with 0 play, wobble or shift in zero even when handling the rifle by the optic itself. for the about 100 round I shot including light labored duty doing a few reload drills it had 0 issues, Was a pleasure to use after it was zeroed and does everything I wanted out of it after that. (P.S my windage and elivation turrets where not backwards and I was able to zero with ease)(Time and more experience with it will tell if it keeps zero and holds up to use but I'd give it a +1 star for actually still performing despite it's short comings) Final thoughts... With out personal biased that leave us with a 3 star optic. (I'm gonna use a little biased and say its 4 stars) I'll let you come to your own conclusions on what you think this optic is worth and if you should buy it. Keeping in mind it's price and everyone elses experiences with it. I can tell you even though it isn't perfect, had a major failure in the mount and has its flaws... For a less than 100$ 2x optic that holds zero and is enjoyable to shoot and look freaking sick, I'm still pretty happy with my purchase (So long as it continues to hold zero and function properly) Just know what your getting yourself into and have your expectations adjusted. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price!
Color: Black
This wasn’t a bad optic. I used it for about two years and have very few complaints. I was able to hit some pretty tight groups at a hundred yards and could plink at 300 no problem on my AR. Only real complaint is the focus wasn’t very clear toward the far end of the spectrum. It’s maybe a 2-2.5x zoom with clear vision, not a 3x… also the battery died way faster than I would have hoped. But not too shabby overall. ... show more

  • Amazing scope!!!
Color: Black
I deal with pretty bad astigmatism in my eyes... And when I bought my grandfathers gun collection from his estate one of his firearms had a red dot sight on it. Any time I looked into that sight it would always hurt my eyes and would have a starburst effect when it was turned on. I got this scope after reading and researching a lot about it and all I can say is WOW. This scope is so clear and even with the red its less stressful on my eyes with a very minimal burst look to it. The green is simply amazing and is crystal clear! This is the first scope I have ever bought for myself and I will 100% buy scopes from this company again. It is super sturdy and very clean and clear. 10/10 will recommend this to everyone I know who goes shooting. ... show more
