  • great low profile rings
I have a new standard Ruger 10/22. Bought a Vortex scope. Ordered vortex rings I didn't really like the look or the bulky Vortex rings and they came loose. (side note someone had opened the Vortex rings and sent them back with old parts) I sent them back and bought these less expensive rings and they were Phenomenally better. love the look, sturdy, well made and the torque on the screws is good. They fit well on the original weaver style mount that comes with the 10/22 no need to buy the Picatinny rails. ... show more

Quality and construction are good. Easy to install. I liked the way that they mount to the rail. They have lugs that match the rail which seems to make the rings less likely to shift. I did note a little area on the rings where the finish was marred. I just took a sharpie for now to cover the bare metal. No one will ever know, how will they know? They do supply four extra screws and a tool to use. Screws are torx head. ... show more

I installed these on a savage 93 22mag . they are great . no issues perfect height . no movement of scope. It is a 22 mag though not much force there. but fit and finish is pretty good. not amazing . really good for the price though

  • Great scope rings - packaging is insufficient.
Style Name: 1.20 inch height | Picatinny
I've bought a few sets of Monstrum rings, and they have all been top-notch. Every style I have purchased has been well-designed and well-machined. They fit well. They are an exceptional value. I do have a gripe with these particular rings, though. These rings come packaged in a clear plastic bag, shoved into a little box. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. The problem is that there is nothing separating the two rings in the package. Therefore, the rings rub together in shipping - and the result is that the finish is rubbed off of the rings on the sides that touch. Monstrum should consider slipping a little piece of foam or plastic between the two - just something to keep them from rubbing. Even just putting a piece of tape on one of them would work. I sent back the first set. The second set I received was better - so I decided that I could cover up the bad spots with a Sharpie marker, and live with them. ... show more

  • Good stuff
Style Name: 1.00 inch height | Picatinny
Ive been using Monstrum for years on lots of platforms. They have everything for any scenario. They take a lot of torque are machined well and look good too. You could pay a lot more for stuff that's not even close to as good. I have Monstrum on pretty much everything I own.
