ANYONE WHO GOT ONES THAT TASTE BAD - I think there's a problem on a specific production line at Monster or something. I think I'm up to about my 7th or 8th "bad" 12-pack, so I've done a ton of research on this. Monster uses a date-code stamp on the bottom of their cans that indicates the date and "line" the product was made on. The first 8 characters of this code are the month, year, day, and "line number" and can be read like this: [A - L] - The first character is a letter that represents the month of manufacture (A for January, B for February and so on) [##] - The next two characters are the two-digit year [##] - The next two characters are the two-digit day of the month [???] - The next 3 characters are the production line All of my "bad" cans had one of the following codes: 1. H2528BF3 2. H2530BF3 3. I2501BF3 So, all of the bad cans I've gotten were manufactured between August 28, 2025 and September 1st, 2025, and ALL on product line "BF3". I hope this can help people identify bad ones before having to drink them to make sure. ... show more

I've been a daily fan (and Consumer) of daily Monster Java's, including the kinda newer Cafe Latte since 2017. The Cool (and tasty) distinction that THIS Monster brings to the literal & figurative table is that when it is frothed & heated (i.e., by a Keurig frother) it has both a froth & a creaminess that NO other Monster has. It's taste is distinctive and adds to the quality but I cannot comment on how any Monster tastes right out of the can, since that's not the way I really ever drink them. ... show more

I was unimpressed at first: too little caramel and too little chocolate. But after maybe the 5th can, I started appreciating the subtlety of the flavor. I don't think I'll go out and pay premium price for the product, but it's not actually bad!
