Nothing much to complain about these shoes other than the fit. I know that fit is a personal thing and everyone's feet are different which is why I won't ding these shoes. Ordered a US 8.5 women's and the overall fit is comfortable and adequately sized for my feet. The quality of the material is fine and should be plenty durable. There were no rough spots to annoy the sides of my foot (or any part of my foot for that matter). The only issue I had was that the arc of the upper part of the shoe was too large for my foot causing me to kind of fall out of them when I walked. Would probably be fine for someone with more of an instep (I'm sort of flat footed). So if you're flat footed you should pick something else. Anyone else should be pleased with these.

I ordered a 10 and it feels like at least an 11, so I suggest you size down. The footed seems comfy and has some padding, but I can see how the top strap could possibly irritate the top of the foot, since there is no elastic or give. That being said, the strap is also very loose; I couldnprobably fit at least two fingers between the strap and the top of my Arch. In addition, I can see the raffia material probably breaking away from the glue on the sides pretty quickly with wear. Have a hot glue gun handy!
