As a long time Scrabble lover and Monopoly hater, I can say this game is super fun. Mainly because it plays faster than either of the originals. On the Scrabble end there will be no more sitting around with bad letters, there is now a 7 tile tray of community tiles that you can buy for the low price of $100. Which makes it a lot quicker to come up with quality words. On the Monopoly side this game will end, in fact it only takes about an hour or so to play. There is no more buying properties and managing rentals, instead you win the property based on where you place your Scrabble word. You don't have to wait for all the other players to go bankrupt, the game simply ends when the Scrabble tiles are out. Besides it being faster, I found it to be more exciting than either of it predicessors. This is mostly because of the huge swings that can occur each turn. You could literally win 3 of your opponents properties with the right word placement and community cars. It is often hard to tell who is going to win because things change so much each time. At times this is frustrating, but it's all part of the fun. Probably the best part about this is that it levels the field a bit, so the same person doesn't win every time. Aside from the game play it was a quality game. It has a good gaming board with quality metal Monopoly pieces, wooden tiles, and nice cards. If I had to be picky I would say that it's a little short on the money. I resolved this at my house by playing with real money. 🤣 JK, we use a tally mark system for players passing go instead of giving out the 2G. At the end of the day this is a fun new twist on some old classics. I would recommend it to any gamer. ... show more

    • Such a fun mash up
My boyfriend and I enjoy board games often. I was worried these to games mashed up wouldnt work well together, but I was wrong! They are so great together and takes alot less time then a typical monopoly game. I recommend this is for anyone that likes either game.

    • The fun part of both games!
The best part of both games and very little is wrong about this one. The only complaint I have is the same as with either game alone-too much to set up and it needs a large area to be set up. Other than that-I think the game is much better and less time consuming than either game alone.

This game adds a nice twist to the Monopoly game. It does require a bit more knowledge and skill to play than regular Monopoly. Using the score from the Scrabble game to advance and/or obtain properties is great fun, but can be frustrating for some coming up with words. I also really like the fact that it has an end-time, so to speak. When the scrabble tiles are gone the game is over. That sure beats the multiple days marathons that can sometimes happen. That said, the only thing is, it could probably use some more tiles for the scrabble game. They run out fairly quickly if more than a couple people play. Overall a great game! ... show more

I'm not the biggest monopoly fan, but the way this is set up made it fun & challenging. Game play lasted about an hour with 4 players.
