  • Great desk
Color: Espresso Pattern Name: Desk
The engineering in this desk in remarkable. It's hard to believe when you start that it actually comes together and works so well. It looks good and is worth the money. A couple words of caution. Be patient when putting it together. Line up all the pieces in order, make sure they are all there and be on the look out for some items not being numbered. Also, make sure you put in the back boards to the desk. It's not explained too well, and if you put it together without the backing it will either look horrible or you will have to cut them and put them in place (not ideal) with glue. ... show more

  • Great Desk
Color: Grey Reclaimed Wood Look Pattern Name: Computer Desk
Pros - Looks great - Very sturdy - Lots of storage - 8 drawers! - The faux finish is textured and realistic - Easy to assemble - Great price, especially when you start comparing to similar styles. Semi-Cons - Tons of pieces, block out about 2-3 hours to put it together - It's a bit high for a standard chair, even on its highest setting. I ordered a kb/mouse tray to add underneath the main desk for ergonomics. So just be aware of your needs, I didn't even think to check before ordering. But I'll make it work. - If the corner piece (crux o the "L") is going to be in a corner with no access, getting the brackets in place will be tricky. None of these cons would deter me from buying this desk again. I really like it! ... show more

  • GREAT little desk for the price!
Color: Espresso Pattern Name: Desk
This is a small desk, but that is WHY we got it. We have a small corner available and wanted to get the maximum usefulness for the smallest space -- and this desk does just that! There is ample space to store essential supplies within reach and sufficient surface area to work on. It assembled just as it should have when following the instructions - which as someone stated previously, were pictures and not words. The instructions are downloadable from the manufacturer's website, and honestly, with a tiny bit of guidance, but 8-year-old daughter was able to put one of the drawers together before going to bed the night I was assembling it. I can understand if the number stickers were missing or removed from each piece where it would get VERY difficult to assemble, so make sure you take care to not knock those off when unpacking all the pieces. (There are over 40 different numbered pieces, and multiples of some of those, so about 60 pieces all together?) It can be assembled in a left or a right corner - or even as 2 separate pieces. The backs of each piece are "finished" so they can face the wall or out into the room. (The panel that fits behind the drawers in the hutch is only finished on one side, so make sure the finished side faces OUT to the back if you plan to use the hutch in that way.) Everything feels sturdy now that it is assembled and it was easy enough for me to do by myself. The hardest part was getting the right angle on the screwdriver to put the corner piece in that attaches the desk and the hutch. That felt awkward, but was easier once I got a ratchet screwdriver. The cam locks were also a little awkward to tighten, as there was very little clearance even for my small hands. I should have used a ratchet screwdriver on those, too, but didn't think of that until the end. Thankfully, the width of the drawers was just right to allow the screwdriver to fit right in there to tighten the cam locks. If some of the drawers were any narrower, a screwdriver would not have gone in straight. It looked like a tight fit, but I had to say to myself, "They thought of EVERYTHING!" as the screwdriver just fit into place to do the job. One thing I wish they had done is put a small passage for the cords for the printer in the back panel of the hutch. They show a printer in there, but no wires. That is not possible with this desk. I will have to drill a hole myself. No big deal, but it will not be as neatly finished as if they had just done it from the start. Also, our printer JUST squeezes into that space! I don't know if there is a standard width on most printers or not, but I was thankful ours fit with maybe 2mm on each side of space. The covers for the assembly holes are just stickers and not solid plugs, so that could be better, too. The filing drawer accommodates large or small files, but it must be decided upon assembly. There are 2 steel rods that fit into pre-drilled holes in the drawer and I don't think it can be changed once the drawer is assembled. If it were as simple as disassembling the drawer to change it, that would be one thing, but there are wooden pegs that you glue into place that will not just disassemble if you change your mind. The drawers in the top of the hutch just slid in like little boxes while all the other drawers have metal glides. I can see how they could slip out if you opened them mindlessly. Even a little stopper at the top of the drawer would have been an improvement, but that is something that can easily be added "aftermarket." Finally, it didn't occur to me that the desk and the hutch were different depths until I was assembling it. That seemed odd, but inconsequential in the end. It would be GREAT if the corner piece was on a hinge to make the dead space under it accessible for some kind of storage - or just to access the plugs and all the cords I'm hiding back there right now. But, honestly, this is a GREAT little desk for the price!!!! I would definitely choose it again and/or recommend it to a friend. ... show more

  • If you’re on the fence like I was...just buy it!! I’m glad I did!
Color: Grey Reclaimed Wood Look Pattern Name: Computer Desk
I just finished assembling this desk and I love it already!! Was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but there were enough positive ones that I took the chance. Everything came in perfect condition, and I love the finish! Looks great in my space! It comes in quite a few pieces as you’ll see in the photos (and the 2 boxes it comes in are heavy!), so I was a bit overwhelmed at first. The instructions are also not super clear and I had to stare at the first step for a while before figuring it out, but after that it kept getting faster as I figured out which screws were which, what the pictures were showing/magnifying, etc. I did it by myself and it took a few hours, taking a break for lunch and attending a few online meetings in between. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and looks of this desk, and I hope it lasts me a long time (I think it will)! If you’re on the fence about buying it...just do it! (Btw I never write reviews but I am just so happy with this desk I had to!) ... show more

  • Good quality, plenty of storage, and aesthetically beautiful.
Color: Dark Taupe Wood-look Pattern Name: Desk
“Background”: I recently moved my office upstairs and night this desk for my new space. Since then my work life has been much better! This desk has so much space! I combined two desks into one and managed to still have room for more. “Quality”: The quality is standard with the particle board material but my desk feels firm, solid built. “Moveability”: Not gonna lie, it was hard to move it when fully built bc it uses a small skinny corner panel and we had to install it before moving the desk into the corner (held by two small L brackets). This desk needs three people to move it! Moving the desk with 1 other person was the scariest moment of my life, I could hear the screw brackets cracking the wood 😵 This desk is meant to stay in one spot. (The brackets that hold the Corner panel are on the outside what faces the wall of the desk and that’s and is not accessible once the desk is in position that’s why we had to move it after assembly) ... show more

  • Pass on this one if you don’t want to waste money.
Color: Brown Reclaimed Wood Look Pattern Name: Desk
This is definitely not worth the money, it is terrible quality and cheaply made. The corner piece has a small support and can not hold any weight. The drawer holes are not aligned well and it is a LOT smaller than the picture shows. Don’t get caught trying to return this as it is very hard, find something else that might fit your needs. ... show more
